Pillowcase and a whole neighborhood, or trunk-or-treat in a parking lot?
A mom rants from her car about how Halloween used to be: one night, pillowcases, flammable costumes, a route and a strategy, very little adult supervision, and full-size candy bars as breaking news. Then everybody dumped their candy on the floor and traded like Wall Street. Now, she says, it's six weekends of trunk-or-treat in parking lots.
She's not wrong about the magic. Walking until your legs hurt and trading Snickers on the living room floor was the whole point. I'll give trunk-or-treat this much: it's easier with toddlers and you're not dodging cars in the dark. But one night, real streets and real porches is still the best version.
Every kid, my two included, deserves the pillowcase version of Halloween at least once.

How can you cut anyone from the one division that's ranking in bank for your company? With all of these apparent projects happening (was it 60 billion over 10 years for experiencs?) this decision is very strange.

Confirming the LA Times report that 100-200 layoffs are impacting Disney Experiences and Walt Disney Imagineering. The cuts are tied to shifting project priorities, with most affected employees based at WDI in Glendale.

Disney just needs to get rid of the reservation system. None of this half in half out BS. The park hopping elimination also is pointless because its still forcing you to select a park still as well when there's no longer an 11Azm restriction.

I wonder if Disney is now seeing what peak price people are willing to pay for the magic keys.
However, that actually works out in Disneys favor IF they are really wanting less key holders over time
