You can have all the revolutions and eat all the rich people you want, if you want to feel good. If you're not building, maintaining your institutions and sucking in capital, you'll be stuck in a violent rut and end up feeding arms dealers and foreign visa people for a long time.

Exactly People be crying revolution without any coherent ideology

No useless bloody revolution. No violence on people due to rhetoric and ideology. No dictator seizing power by force. No Leaps Forward, no Cultural Revolution. Just regular voted governments working and capitalism. That's what works, guys. Well done India 👏🏾

People think supporting socialism makes them anti-west but to me it makes them pro-west. The biggest supporters of socialism are American or western educated leftists at this point. lol

It’s not illegal at all and some states offer tax incentives to do it.
Apparently it's illegal to harvest rainwater in America, my African mind can't comprehend such ridiculous government overreach. Land of the free indeed.

It’s the same thing the big 3 major labels do in a way, they all release a high volume of music weekly and they see what clicks, (outside of the super stars of course).
Master P and No Limit put out a lot of bullshit… they signed any and everyone and put out a new album every business week lol they were throwing shit at the wall and seeing what stuck

India saw about 496 million people lifted out of poverty between 2011 and 2023 in one of the world’s fastest declines in this metric, the World Bank said, although the gains remain uneven. bloomberg.com/news/articles/…

Many people in music only care about "owning" the win. I've seen it thousands of times. When credit has to be shared, or their role is small, they delay, ignore, or sabotage. Whenever I can, I work with the artist directly. I care about the outcome, not the credit.
A lot of the music industry is just unnecessary middle men with no talent or real value adding their tax on other people’s work. They will gatekeep hard as fuck because that’s the only thing they have going for themself and they know with the direct connection they are irrelevant

Because the USSR focused on colonising the Caucuses, Central Asia, Siberia and Alaska. Land-based colonisation rather than a maritime dependent one. We will believe this hogwash when Russia lets go of occupied Georgia, Chechnya, Moldova, Ukraine, etc.
“Russia has never considered African nations as territories to be competed over…we have not pursued any colonial policies. We helped them liberate themselves from neocolonialism.’ President Putin

People don't realize how much aesthetics influence their view of political and social issues. People wanting Zendaya to do the work of actual scholars and activists have much to do with them wanting to see a glamorous, popular, and wealthy woman represent their values.

😂😂😂😂😂 I try to stay far away from that side of twitter
This is funny until you realize there’s an epidemic of people who genuinely see the world through racial cliches. That’s why socioeconomic and political conversations on here go nowhere

hate to be that guy but the division is mostly online, the goal is to plant it in your heads so it influences offline action so a good way to start is stop professing defeat before the battle has even started
The division between Africans, African-Americans and Caribbeans is one of the CIA's most successful tricks. There's no way we're this disconnected from people who share so much of our history.

Personally, I am tired of pretending people I am ideologically opposed against are not intelligent. Pretending people with questionable values, morals or politics are handicapped intellectually (or in whatever we are evaluating in) is intellectually dishonest and lazy.

dam this accurate for Liberia
The problem is not that African countries lack intelligent people. It is that many have built systems that reward political connections over competence, loyalty over merit and personal enrichment over public service. Such environments inevitably undermine national development.

I see people tryna discredit what Maino said about 50, simply because it was Maino who said it—but If we are to be honest, 50 Cent and Maino are on the same level lyrically.
