Niecałe dwa miesiące temu - 3 września - swoją pierwszą grę wydało polskie studio Rebel Wolves, mieszczące się na warszawskim Ursynowie. Firmę w 2021/2022 roku założyli weterani legendarnego CD Projekt RED, w tym Konrad Tomaszkiewicz, reżyser Wiedźmina 3.
Ich debiut, The Blood of Dawnwalker, to ambitne RPG akcji osadzone w mrocznym świecie XIV-wiecznych Karpat, pełnym wampirów, lokalnych wierzeń i średniowiecznych tajemnic.
Gra bardzo mocno czerpie z rumuńskiej kultury, folkloru i klimatu Transylwanii. Choć akcja rozgrywa się w fikcyjnej dolinie Vale Sangora, rumuńskie inspiracje są wyraźnie widoczne: od krajobrazów i architektury, przez imiona postaci, takie jak Anca, Florin, Adrei, po sam wampirzy "lore".
A wyniki? Rewelacyjne. W ciągu zaledwie 48 godzin od wrześniowej premiery sprzedano już ponad milion egzemplarzy "Krwi Świtołaza" (albo "Krwi Brzaskowca", że tak sobie pozwolę na swobodne tłumaczenie tytułu)
Trudno nie cieszyć się z kolejnego sukcesu polskiego zespołu tworzącego gry na światowym poziomie, szczególnie gdy fundamentem dla przedstawionego uniwersum jest rumuńska historia, mitologia i kultura.

The GRU hacked into Jared Kushner's iPhone. Dutch military intelligence (MIVD) then recruited a GRU spy who gave them access to the hacked phone.
