The iconic red-letter WWF Intercontinental Championship belt used at WrestleMania III sold for $716,750 at Heritage Auctions on October 24, 2026, setting a new record for the most expensive wrestling championship belt ever sold. Previously owned by Conrad Thompson, the historic title was held by Tito Santana, Randy Savage, Ricky Steamboat, and The Honky Tonk Man. It was famously used during Savage and Steamboat’s legendary WrestleMania III match in 1987. The sale shattered the previous record of $414,800, held by Hulk Hogan’s WrestleMania II championship belt.
