Bahahahaha. File lawsuits? What could go wrong?
Fucking idiots.
🦔Delaware wants to let AI agents run companies on their own. Under the draft law, the agent could sign contracts and file lawsuits, and the person who owns the company would carry no responsibility for its harms unless they committed fraud or left it underfunded. Delaware’s Secretary of State has pitched it as a big boost to state revenue. House Oversight Chairman James Comer now wants to see how the plan came together.
My Take
Yeah, so companies already blame AI for layoffs they wanted anyway, and now they’d get to blame it in court too. Say the agent drains a customer’s account. You can sue the company, but you only get whatever money the owner left in it, and the owner gets to tell the judge a machine made the call. I don’t see who this helps besides the owners and Delaware (business fees pay for roughly a quarter of that state’s budget, so of course they’re interested). If it passes in January, I expect a rush of AI startups to file there.

So entirely obvious there’s a bunch of worms under that rock, which want to stay hidden. Congress needs to get all up in this. It ain’t going away. Not with the additional implications for the U.S. military.
🚨 Pentagon refuses to investigate Starlink disruptions in Ukraine. Senators demand answers about Musk's role
Nine US senators — four Republicans and five Democrats — called for an investigation into who was behind restrictions on Starlink and Starshield satellite communications, which Ukrainian officials say hampered efforts to intercept Russian drones.
However, the Pentagon's inspector general declined to launch an investigation and referred the senators to the US Air Force, according to the Associated Press.
The senators wanted to know whether US officials had authorized the restrictions, whether they knew about them in advance, and how the disruptions affected Ukraine's air defenses and warnings of incoming threats.
Senator Jeanne Shaheen said the Trump administration and SpaceX had provided conflicting explanations for the disruptions, making an independent investigation necessary.

The Kremlin just confirmed it: talks are underway to lift US sanctions on Putin's state investment fund.
Meanwhile NYT reports a Lukoil deal in the mix with investors tied to the Trump envoys negotiating it.
Ask yourself WHO gets paid when the sanctions come off.
I smell more corruption and bullshit.

If you told me two years ago that the US President would pressure American companies to buy fuel it doesn’t need from a Russian terrorist state still waging war in Europe, I would have said, so Trump gets reelected? What a humiliation.
NEWS: Trump admin officials want US companies to accept the Russian diesel currently crossing the Atlantic.
But American firms want nothing to do with it. They’re very scared of the legal and reputational risk, industry sources tell me and @jstein_sun

It seems authoritarian because it’s authoritarian.

While the Crook President and his crook family rake in billions from all over the world, you pay more for everything. I believe that Texas voting machines are rigged. I went with 2 others and all 3 of us had this problem, on separate machines. When we press the button for James Talarico, Ken Paxton lit up. We had to change our votes back several times before a vote for him would stick
