Congrats, Noah! So proud of this kid. He’s the hardest worker out there. There’s no secret sauce… If you outwork everyone, good things will come your way. Much love kiddo. 💙💛

So many newspapers out there right now thinking they can hire journalists to cover sports AND news, presumably because they believe sports to be simple to cover. Just another way newspapers are throwing themselves over a cliff.

I know early season rankings don't mean anything, but if Virginia isn't in the top 10 this week, something's wrong. Knocked off No. 5 Baylor and No. 18 Illinois, who beat UCLA, this weekend to remain unbeaten.

It’s not so much his leg kick as where his foot lands: Well beyond the 45-degree angle, meaning he was stepping toward the plate.

Covered ACC men for a decade, must be gifted with size, quickness and skill plus character. Couldn't agree more with Coach K; now mid major, low major may have a bit lower bar..... – at Florida, USA

I'm going to very respectfully disagree with this. I've coached 6 D1 kids, high major to mid & there are just some things that cannot be "trained".
