Are you curious what the PnL for a specific industry looks like?
Did you know you can find one (for free) for just about any service based business? And the operational playbook as well.

I am getting to the point where I just want to deal with authentic people.
On the way to my oldest soccer game and I tell him his jersey is so dirty.
He responds, “That’s because I play hard!” In the most serious tone.
Valid point. 😅 I guess I can’t be mad.
Disagree. Just takes a little more time to comfortable & confident enough in your shoes to still be able to have those deep conversations while sober.
Either way, no judgement at all.
I just know it’s possible but it takes a little while on the sober journey. ♥️
I know it’s not cool to drink anymore, but hear me out.
Last night me and two friends (54 and 79) stayed up late yapping about life, love, and heartache in a way that’s just harder to do sober.
Impossible? Of course not.
But sharing a drink is an immediate sign you’re letting your guard down, an invitation to a deeper conversation - especially for guys who often shy away from sensitive topics.
Are there downsides? Of course, and I felt it this morning and all day.
But I wouldn’t trade those late night, uninhibited convos for anything.
Can’t stop keep reliving how good that Oregon game was last night. I can’t get over it. Go Ducks 💛💚 🫶
There may be a million and one things to do in NYC but grabbing a bagel from my favorite bakery and getting lost in Central Park will always be my favorite.

When assets are expensive, create assets!
Replying to @STLChrisH
That’s what it SHOULD be, but in reality, it’s not what seller expectations are today.
Assuming everything is middle of road and standard, here are the multiples I see….
<$500k — 5-6x
$500-1m — 5-7.5x
$1-2m — 6-10x
$2-4m — 7.5-11x
$4-10m — 12-15x
$10m+ — pointless
None of those multiples make sense.

Got an Instacart delivery of about $200 in groceries about an hour ago.
It’s late, I’m tired and ready to call it a day so I went downstairs to help the driver bring them in.
It was an early 30-something Mom, with her 7ish year old son springing around the driveway and a teeny weeny baby sleeping in the backseat.
Really, really tough to see.
I can’t imagine what she went through shopping for all those groceries with those two kids with her.
Broke my heart in a number of ways.
It was also a powerful reminder.
No matter what you’re going through, there’s always someone fighting a much tougher battle.
G’night.
Going to a gym in SoCal is the most humbling experience.
I mean an 80yr old lady was doing pull-ups next to me this morning.
Grand finale of fireworks and a group of people were walking away from it (Why would you miss the best part?!?)
Then the gf turns to her friend and ask for a picture, grabs her bf for a kissing photo with the fireworks in the background.
Kisses her bf and immediately grabs the phone to see how the photo turned out.
Ask for a redo.
Kisses the bf again, doesn’t even look at him again and just reaches for the phone to approve of the photo after.
I pray this kind of love Never finds my 4 sons.
Kissing just for likes on social media like the person you’re with is just a prop is so cringe. Broke my heart a little to witness that.
It’s so sad when social media is the true love; prioritizing everyone liking you vs one person loving you.
Spent so many years disliking MA, happy to report I’m finally seeing the appeal. Only took 6 years 🙃
Happy 4th!

Saw a guy driving a massive semi truck with cars behind him come to an immediate stop.
Hop down from the truck, onto the road to remove a baby turtle from the road and place it in the water near by.
Faith in humanity is restored.
