Although there is times when women who work in male dominated fields tend to feel isolated, Brigid Mullany from University of North Carolina, reminds us to be open minded and don’t be afraid to take opportunities outside your comfort zone. #GWL2018
Ling-An Wu, professor at Chinese Academy of Sciences mentioned in her speech that we as women must be thick skinned when pointing out inequalities between men and women in the workplace. And at any point in your career, it is never too late to start a new direction. #GWL2018
An issue plaguing many women in the workplace is over committing ourselves. Michelle Sander of Boston University reminds us to prioritize and decide what is worth fitting into our schedules. However she also does acknowledge that this is not always easy, support is key. #GWL2018
