PICEANCE-EAST DOUGLAS ROUNDUP UPDATE: BLM continues capturing wild horses while foals are shipped away from the range. AWHC is demanding transparency and accountability. 💔

We've already saved an entire cultural heritage herd of horses in a wilderness ecosystem.
And we've reWilded nearly 100 horses saved from the slaughter pipeline. We are the ONLY wild horse nonprofit that is engaged in the Genetic Survival of American wild horses, while others save sterilized horses in sanctuaries or are being paid blood money by the BLM to Sterilize wild horses, assisting in their genetic demise!
If you love wild horses, YOU need to face the truth!
Otherwise, they will all soon be gone from the face of the American west.

Here’s an example of one of BLM’s “humane” roundups of wild horses. Does this look humane or safe to you?

Wild horses and burros being sold for slaughter isn’t the only unspeakable cruelty happening. It happens before, during and after brutal roundups. The entire wild horse and burro program needs to be investigated.
.@NRDems @RepJoeNeguse @SecDebHaaland @BLMNational @sltrib. Someone needs to answer to this extreme cruelty bestowed upon federally protected wild horses and burros.

I'm seeing a lot of posts from
big influencers about this administration's efforts to round up America's wild horses for slaughter.
It was always part of Project 2025.
They want to get rid of them all.
There are rescue groups like @WildCorp who have been fighting this battle for years.
Want to help? Follow and donate to the people who do the hard work. 💔
Update: 19 y/o Kahlua (left)was in much worse condition than 11 y/o Captain that is blind in his right eye. They have both gained weight on their special diet & on the mend Captain loves pets from Lori but Kahlua though curious is not ready to trust yet & takes time #wildhorses
