We're a week away from the launch of my new book, Money To Burn. Wonderful reviews are rolling in, including this one from @TimesOnlineLK

My personal opinion: @nytimes ripped off this story.

Whoa. Not a great look for @nytimes. What say @NYTimesPR ?
We gave the Times the chance to do the right thing yesterday.
Instead, they’re going with an argument that basically boils down to:
*We randomly produced our first ever plume model about the exact same incident that Hunterbrook exposed with a plume model
*We randomly took a lead photo of the exact same home on the exact same street
*We randomly interviewed the same expert
Etc.
They wrote a great story. Obviously, we care about the subject deeply. It’s just a huge bummer for our team and the reporters who worked relentlessly on these stories.

Shout out to the New York Times reporters liking our posts on this & writing me that this isn’t even a close call

I've won the Air Mail Tom Wolfe Prize for my book THE YAHOO BOYS!!!
In an age of slop and vertical videos and short attention spans and dying newspapers and AI stealing original reporting, nothing is more revolutionary than reading a book.
Long live long-form journalism!

Last night, Michael Stipe sang R.E.M.’s “E-Bow The Letter” and his Big Red Machine collab “No Time For Love Like Now” with the National’s Matt Berninger and Aaron and Bryce Dessner. It was part of AB100, a two-day festival celebrating the Dessners’ 50th birthday in the Basque region. Stipe hadn’t performed “E-Bow,” originally recorded with Patti Smith, in 17 years. Last week he said his long-awaited debut solo album will come in 2027, with the first single dropping minutes into the new year.

We wish for him a life filled with love and happiness and wonder and meaning and compassion and family and community, just as our parents provided for us. Peace and Love. #GoBirds
Aston Martin has touched off a transatlantic imbroglio after accepting a new round of financing from HPS, the private credit arm of BlackRock, causing its bonds to crater.
The twist is that BlackRock is on both sides of this fight.

I counted 8 suicides in @WilliamCohan 's "Money to Burn"--including the CalPERS placement agent, a French banker and also Marc Rowan's brother. It's really pretty amazing...
