BEING A DAD IS WEIRD. YOU SPEND ALL DAY WANTING FIVE MINUTES OF PEACE, THEN THE SECOND THE HOUSE GETS QUIET, YOU MISS EVERYBODY.

Contreras just hit one to Saturn and I can’t get a replay?!

Blake Baker is just not really worth it
Offense shifts to empty needing TWO yards. You vacate every LB, leave the middle wide open, and run ZERO DL games to prevent a QB draw from finding a free lane? Oh wait, I forgot. LSU coaches make millions, so they obviously know everything about defense. Some of the most pathetic defensive awareness I’ve ever seen in college football. #LSUvsKentucky #AbsoluteJokesForDefensiveCoaches

Should have let Blake Baker go to Tulane. Anyone who loses to Joe Sloan like that doesn’t have it.

Lane trying really hard to do his best Les Miles. He needs to find a way to make himself worth it
Officiating was a problem, but you know what the bigger problem tonight was? Your QB has turned the ball over in every game. Your defense goes from being elite to Swiss cheese in every close of half situation because you refuse to not play soft zone coverage. Your offensive line gets consistently beat and you have to dig in to your bag of tricks to convert 3rd and 2. And don’t expect Sankey to give a damn when you send in the tape tomorrow. You’ve burned that bridge down.

Nobody hires Lane Kiffin to punt and play defense.

Theoretically, the logic for hiring Lane Kiffin is that the neverending drama is worth it because, on 4th & 1 with a chance to win the game, he’s going to have the right mindset and the right play call to make the difference. In chance No. 1 at LSU, he played it like every other unremarkable football coach I’ve ever watched. Disappointing.

Sliding is not protection. At no other point in life do we willingly hand responsibility for our safety to somebody else simply because there’s a rule telling them how they’re supposed to behave. So why do we teach quarterbacks to do it? When you slide, you’re trusting a defender running full speed, in the middle of competition, to perfectly control his body because the rulebook says he should. Take control of your own safety. Learn to attack defender halves. Understand leverage. Choose which half of the defender you’re attacking. Get your body out of the direct collision path and create glancing blows instead of square contact. Done correctly, you accomplish two things: Protect yourself by avoiding direct, violent collisions. Steal additional yards every time you finish a run. This isn’t about being reckless. It’s the opposite. It’s teaching quarterbacks how to control the contact instead of hoping the defender does it for them. Don’t surrender your safety to the rulebook. Learn how to protect yourself.

How can you watch this play and not see number 51 go out on a route?
The guy is downright silly man.

For all the idiots in the comments the rule is 3 yards. If you don’t see the lineman 6 yards downfield affect the LB and the play then you’re dumb lol
