Against overwhelming odds, the English held firm. Their longbowmen unleashed volleys of arrows as the French advanced through the mud. Faith, discipline, courage and sheer English grit carried the day. Before battle, Henry and his men prayed to God. After their victory, they gave thanks through the 𝑻𝒆 𝑫𝒆𝒖𝒎. The words of 𝑵𝒐𝒏 𝑵𝒐𝒃𝒊𝒔 𝑫𝒐𝒎𝒊𝒏𝒆 declare: "Not unto us, O Lord, but unto thy name give glory." They fought beneath the Cross of St George, trusting in God and standing shoulder to shoulder. "Cry God for Harry, England, and Saint George!" 611 years later, we remember the Englishmen who fought and died at Agincourt. This is our history. These are our forefathers. Honour them 🏹 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿
