Who is the longest driving golf course superintendent?
The 12th hole at The Scarecrow was playing 425….but only 370 if you could make an insane carry.
Gamble Sands Superintendent Rob Ackerley decided to go for it and ended up green high!!! He was bombing it 350+ all day, even drove over a 360 yard par 4 green.
Power for days. Though I did birdie the hole from 180 yards …scorecard doesn’t show your distances! 😂
