In Arusha 🇹🇿 today & tomorrow to talk digital boost, inc e-gov & cybersec with @jumuiya with @ESTDEVestonia
A lot of work already done & more to come for cross-border digital services in Africa.
Really insightful to meet @bosuntijani who speaks honest truths about what can and cannot be shared between Europe and Africa when it comes to #govtech & meet #digital leaders from across the continent
It was a pleasure to host Dr. @bosuntijani, Minister of Communications, Innovation and Digital Economy of the Federal Republic of Nigeria 🇳🇬 and members of African Leadership University at #ESTDEV

Excellent insight from @CEOSmartAfrica at Africa Business Forum on trust vs truth economy and the acute need for digital ID to create trust b/w gov and citizens 💡
Kicked off this crazy week of Africa Business Forum by @MFAestonia, @e-Governance Conference by @egovacademy and @Latitude59 with a discussion with @RealSmartAfrica on how @ESTDEVestonia can collaborate with Smart Africa on supporting innovation ecosystem 🌐

Visited @UBBotswana this morning and met Prof Moalosi and his team at the Innovation Centre. Lovely campus, motivated people full of ideas.
Sharing Estonia’s #digitalisation, #education and #innovation story with 🇧🇼 and seeing the potential for co-creation on all levels has been amazing!

It was rather special to stand on the tarmac in Gaborone as the President’s plane landed. Proudly representing @ESTDEVestonia as I met @OfficialMasisi and @njmasisi
Arrived in Gaborone to start my state visit to #Botswana, one of our development cooperation priority partners in Africa. Botswana is the first African country I visit as the President. Thank you for warm & special welcome upon arrival, President @OfficialMasisi.
Excited for a busy week of meetings and engagements (no pun intended to BW’s 💎) in #Botswana. 13 years since BW played a rather active role in my prof life and couldn’t be happier to be advancing 🇧🇼🇪🇪cooperation under the @ESTDEVestonia umbrella now with @LiinaLink
I often get asked what Estonia is looking for in Africa and vice versa & finally wrote down my thoughs on #Estonia in #Africa and how this relates to modern development #cooperation
🌍 The #African continent has 1.2 billion people who speak 2000 languages in 54 countries, each with unique challenges.
🤔 Why would these countries want to collaborate with #Estonia?
@WinterKati, ESTDEV's regional head for Africa, discusses that here👉estdev.ee/africa/estonian-de…
