It is much more difficult to arrange your behavior to serve your ideals. It is much easier to arrange your ideals to serve your behavior. -Do you use truth to drive action or proof to excuse it?

People are talking about this, so let’s review why Yost lost this debate (no disrespect to Yost). In this clip the guest, pornographer, Erika Lust leans into the new atheist myth about Romans being sexually liberated swingers, while Yost counters with the old FT classic about Christianity being good for women’s “rights” actually. On the facts Yost is right and Lust is wrong. But Yost loses because she concedes the proper frame in two ways: first by arguing the question of pornography in the frame of “liberation” and second by having the debate to begin with. To see how this works, we can doa what Erika Lust wants and imagine that we are back in Rome of the first century. How would this conversation about pornography between the time period equivalent women proceed in that much more “liberated” culture? Well, it wouldn’t, because believe it or not, Rome wasn’t the liberated culture that Lust thinks it was. I am not an Antiquarian scholar, but I know enough about the Roman caste system to know better. The time period equivalent of Yost is a Patrician Lady, a Matriarch and the product of her society’s finest education and finishing. The time period equivalent of Lust is (charitably) an actress or (uncharitably) a prostitute. But this is mincing words because the Romans of the first century saw these jobs as THE SAME kind of thing. They were INFAMES who were BELOW society. Patrician Matriarchs do NOT engage in discussions with infames. Why is that? Because Romans understood that the point of debate is more symbolic than rational. When men (or women here) engage in conversation publicly they are acting as symbols for their side. The Patrician Matriach is not just a woman. She is the symbol, a banner of her family, her faith, the blood and honor of her sons and husband and father. Her image is the symbol of the city’s FUTURE made manifest. By contrast, the actress sells her image in the marketplace for MONEY. The prostitute has men willing to pay for honor. The Matriarch has men willing to die for her honor. See the difference? Of course you do. If you put these women in public popularity contest, what you are saying is: “Our societies faith and honor and future MIGHT be the same KIND of thing that can be purchased in the market cheaply” The Romans understood this symbolism and Christians a hundred years ago understood this too, though they didn’t like to SAY it bluntly. And it makes sense. Remember, you can’t DEBATE values. No one can prove that honor is more valuable than gold. Rather, people OBSERVE values which is why FRAME matters more than ARGUMENTS. Patrician women don’t have to plead the case of honor for the entertainment of actresses and prostitutes. That would be like some cruel punishment than Caligula might inflict upon the wives of his enemies. Instead of argument, sanity starts with the frame of behavior. It starts when Patrician Matriarchs see a low status woman in public and, instead of inviting them to a debate as equals, greet them the same word modern women love to apply to low status men: “ICK”
Christianity didn’t ruin sex.

Here’s how all of those South Asian refugees and immigrants are buying houses in the suburbs
Ram Chhetri came to the US as a refugee, but this might be worst day of his life: It's the moment he realizes the $80k-$160k/year salary he's bilked from Medicaid for no-show work is coming to an end because @realdailywire caught the truth on camera. We conducted months of surveillance that shows why "home care aide" is now the *most common job* in states like NY, CA, MN, and PA: Because a large part of those jobs are unambiguous Medicaid fraud. Thanks to home care, Bhutanese refugees now make more money than actual PA families. The state doesn't just look the other way, but helps them get away with it. Converting federal health dollars into a universal basic income for certain communities relieves the financial burden they place on the state. The scammers easily deceive the feds' woefully broken monitoring system. You'll see Ram pull into a driveway for 2 minutes in the morning, then 2 minutes in the evening. He clocks in and out of his shift from the right place, and the GPS system doesn't notice that he goes home in between. $20 an hour doesn't sound like much, but at 77 hours a week, it's $80k–and it's easy to bill huge hours when you don't actually have to work them. And that's just for the low-level guys in this scheme.

I could see the logic IF there was no income tax. But…

Good point by @jcenters here. Money is a measure of fucks given. You get it because you did something someone gave a fuck about. You use it to make people give a fuck about something they otherwise wouldn't. Except the act of using money to make people give a fuck about something is called "spending". How many fucks people give about you is not proportional to how much money you have, it's proportional to how much money you spend, and how wisely you spend it. Many wealthy people, who self-describe as right-wing, expect to be influential because they have money, not because of how they use money. We have a fair handful of right wing billionaires, who want right-wing values to win, but they are fundamentally confused about what their role in that victory needs to be. I've often joked that the difference between a billionaire and an intellectual is that an intellectual doesn't think he's a billionaire. But unfortunately, I'm not much of a comedian, and this particular joke is only funny because it's true. Far too many of the right-wing billionaire class thinks that their role is thought leadership. But they are investors, not persuaders, and certainly not practical philosophers. The actual power they have isn't to inspire or lead, it's to provide resources to empower others and create organizations and networks. This means that when someone says "it would be good to have 100 million dollars to make a right-wing, non-subverted version of The Odyssey", the correct answer is not "rent computation time on my company's AI slop cannon, and make it at your own expense while working a day job". This means when someone says "we need to create some right-wing networks", the correct answer is not "buy a ticket to listen to me spitball abstract religious theory". The correct answer is "hey, you're good at networking, here's a middle class salary so you can devote your full-time efforts to recruit and building a team of full-time lobbyists, and here's some money to pay them with". The correct answer is "hey, you're writing kids' books about fighting monsters, instead of about exploring your unique gender identity, here's a middle class salary so you can do it full time". The correct answer is "hey, you're good at rooting out left wing corruption, and exposing it to sunlight, here's a middle class salary so you can do it full time without worrying about monetization, and a legal team on retainer for when they come after you". The correct answer is "oh, you got arrested for being rude to some foreigner invader in blatant left-wing lawfare? Well, here's a paid-off legal team to help you, and a guaranteed job for life at one of my companies so you don't care about what this does to your criminal record, and, hey, fuck it, I'll pay off your mortgage as well. Let's see how well they can use the system to intimidate people when being targeted by them is like hitting the lottery!" The correct answer is "oh, your fantasy novel series got cancelled because you refused the publisher's demand to put in a gay character? Here's 30K to cover self-publishing expenses, and I'll use my massive multibillion dollar social media platform to promote it for free." Why is @DataRepublican having to monetize on her own with {website I can't even mention because god forbid X.com doesn't get all the clicks}? Why does @monsterhunter45 not have a single movie deal {because god forbid the right make a movie that isn't about Jesus or Ayn Rand}? What are we even doing here? Right wing money is not being spent in a disciplined or intelligent way. We're all just noodling around. Our moneyed class spend on physical self-protection so someone doesn't shoot them, but very few of them spend much of anything on political self-protection except Musk. And none of them spend anything on cultural self-protection, because it hasn't sunk in that culture, art, and entertainment are upstream from politics. Buying Twitter protects the people who already agree with you from censorship (sometimes), but it doesn't move the needle with anyone else, because they show up to the conversation with their opinions already formed by Disney Star Wars and Harry Potter and Queers of War. Look, this isn't about what you "should" do. It's about what you have to do if you want to survive. Just because left can steal the money they spend doesn't mean they aren't getting something for that money. Which means you have to spend to fight them, even if you have to spend the actual money you earned. It doesn't matter if you "should" be safe from political prosecutions and confiscations just because that's morally right, or if broke right wing artists and commentators like me "should" pull ourselves up by our own well-worn bootstraps, because something something individualism self-reliance avocado toast. I'm not talking about what should be. I am talking about what is. Fighting wars costs money. The left is so corrupt and incompetent right now that their gay race communist trash costs ten times what it actually costs to make. And the left is so delusional and untalented right now that people would prefer literally any alternative to their art and entertainment. But books still cost money to write and publish. Movies still cost money to shoot. Culture wars still cost money to fight. You can't expect the left, however crippled, to lose a war with nothing and no one. And if they don't lose, they are going to gulag you and take all your stuff. 100% of it. They don't want to rob you because they hate you. They hate you because they want to rob you.
These guys think their money magically protects them somehow. No, what protects you is the influence and protection you buy with the money. The money just sitting there paints a huge target on your back. This is what @Cernovich has been trying to tell them.

I had a friend incredibly admit this today. Essentially he asked me if I believe a true thing that cuts against liberal dogma and I said yes. He said he was concerned about me because believing true things can lead to social isolation and wondered why that didn’t change my mind.
Replying to @xwanyex
I firmly believe that what makes someone a liberal or conservative is fundamentally based on whether you value social consensus or truth. This behavior is also explained by social consensus as their highest value. They believe ideas that challenge the consensus are dangerous.

Worse yet it’s stolen valor
You can see how the aesthetics of debate give the left wingers the advantage post Charlie. They walk up and say: “We killed you and we will kill you again?” And then what’s the response? A joke? That seems weak. A prayer? That looks like cope. Answer the threat with a threat? You just got TPUSA ejected from campus permanently The assassination of Kirk let the left show its power, and they are reveling in it.

After spending the day talking to my Democrat friend it’s clear that they cannot be reasoned or negotiated with. They’re also giant pussies who will yap a lot but never bite. You just have to do the thing that will save the country. All they will do is cry and complain. Until it’s good—then they will pretend they were cool with that part all along. Normies will also blindly follow if it’s good. Women will submit to strength/high status no matter what. It’s all there, waiting for us to set right, anon.

I have been stealing from a local grocery store for 25 years and the other day they had a security guard tell me I could no longer enter the store. What gives? After getting away with it for that long I should be free to steal forever!
A Texas father who had lived in the U.S. for 25 years with no criminal record was finishing his night shift as an Uber driver when immigration agents detained him. Without being able to speak to his lawyer or a judge, he was put on a plane and sent first to Ghana, a country where he had no ties. He was then sent to his home country, despite a determination by a U.S. immigration court judge that he could not be deported there due to likely persecution. cbsn.ws/3Ude66r
