Mr. Y’s third graders created a beautiful plant gallery walk as part of their unit of study on plants. Not only does the display show what students have learned, it also includes a scavenger hunt for all panthers to enjoy!🔍🌱 @Laurie_leads

3rd grade made Photosynthesis bracelets to represent each essential part of photosynthesis. Each bracelet includes a UV activated bead for sunlight to model how sunlight causes the chemical reaction within the leaves! We also made leaf necklaces 🌱 @ElbridgeGaleES

Photosynthesis Song ("Twinkle Twinklle Little Star")
Leaves catch sunlight, energy,
Carbon dioxide joins through leaves.
Roots absorb water, leaves help too,
Stems will send it right on through.
They make glucose — sugar so sweet,
Oxygen for us to breathe in. – at Lantana, FL

I simply love Ms Hill’s take on growing strong 🌱 Her 4th grade students made little greenhouses to house their seeds. The students are able to effectively explain germination.
Keep up the great work @Lake_Park_Lions
Elaine I love everything about this!!!!
A little chant for 5th Grade Science Unit 1:
Scientific investigation, start with a question.
Look, describe, and make no change - just observation!
Scientific experiment, test and compare.
Change one variable to make it valid and fair!
