Most AI coins sell the picks and shovels.
bittensor:native is trying to sell intelligence itself.
solana:rndrizKT3MK1iimdxRdWabcF7Zg7AR5T4nud4EkHBof and $AKT sell GPUs.
$FET / ASI sells agents and an ecosystem.
A lot of projects just put “AI” in the whitepaper.
Bittensor is different:
miners produce models inside subnets, validators score the output, and the network pays $TAO for usefulness.
It isn’t renting graphics cards. It’s pricing intelligence.
21 million supply. No premine. No VC allocation.
Bitcoin’s issuance logic, applied to machine learning.
Stop comparing every AI coin by price action.
They are not on the same layer.
$TAO’s bet is simple:
can intelligence become an open market?`

What a week at #FuturistConference! 🚀
I had the opportunity to interview founders, investors, policymakers, and builders shaping the future of AI, blockchain, digital assets, and emerging technologies.
One thing stood out: the conversation is shifting from what's possible to what's ready for real-world adoption. The focus is increasingly on infrastructure, regulation, interoperability, and solving meaningful problems.

Yes, it's real. TurboVec (github.com/RyanCodrai/turbov…) is a fresh open-source Rust vector index with Python bindings built on Google Research's TurboQuant algorithm (ICLR 2026 paper).
It quantizes embeddings to 2-4 bits, slashing memory ~8x (31 GB → 4 GB for 10M vectors) while matching or beating FAISS speed — especially 12-20% faster on ARM Macs. Fully offline, no training phase, SIMD-optimized, and great for local RAG.
The Sam Altman framing is just hype; the tech delivers efficient, private vector search on regular hardware. Pip install turbovec and try it.
