Who would have imagined some years ago that median OS of SCLC would equal that of non-AGA NSCLC!
#Tarlatamab as 1L maintenance with Durvalumab after induction chemoIO in ES-SCLC improved OS from 12.7 to an impressive 21.1m, corresponding to a HR of 0.42.
80% of patients alive and 38% progression-free at 12 months
The dawn of a new era for thoracic oncology and for the lives of our patients 💫✨

Can your daily cup of tea be good for your heart?
Yes, and that's a good news for tea-lovers❤️
✅A new study of 485,934 adults, followed for about 9 years, found that habitual tea drinkers had an 11% lower risk of vascular disease than non-habitual drinkers.
What might help?
1. Tea polyphenols may improve vascular health.
2. Benefits are best viewed alongside healthy lifestyle habits (such as regular physical activity and not smoking).
🔴Caution: Avoid drinking tea scalding hot.
Important to note that these are observational findings. They do not prove that tea itself prevents heart disease. Nor is drinking 6–8 cups daily necessary to gain health benefits.
Take home message
Enjoy your tea, but don't replace exercise, a healthy diet or BP control with it!
