Ladies, a reminder: there is no such thing as 'too ambitious'. Just as there is no such thing as 'too assertive' and 'too outspoken'. When have you heard those words spoken of any man?

Tbh I’m getting a bit irked by all these “do these things if you want to be a great programmer” or “things you have to do to be successful” blogs. I understand the sentiments but there isn’t “one path fits all” guide to being successful. And success is subjective 🙇‍♀️

The correct advice for anyone to land a great person: 1. Be you! A great other half will 💜 you for you & not want to change you. 2. Do not listen to people like @ZubyMusic.

Stop allowing jerks to ruin the culture you've built. A true leader knows how and when to make the decision to manage someone out. Your team will flourish when the bad apple is removed - no matter how "great" their skill set or domain expertise is. Don't tolerate jerks. Ever.
