We are so excited to launch our new READ THE WORLD A TO Z series. Launching in Fall 2026, Read the World A to Z allows readers to travel the globe with the most influential voices from Argentina to Zambia! The inaugural title: All That Dies in April @MarianaTravacio!
Our author Petra Hůlová was just bumped off a flight overbooked by @British_Airways on her way from Prague to @VanWritersFest. She's stuck in London and will miss her event leading to great disappointment for readers and damages for an indie publisher 😢@CzechCenter

My latest interview is with Czech author Petra Hůlová, who was super interesting about her own case of possible abuse as a young writer, #metoo, and rubbing people up the wrong way with her political pronouncements.

Kit Fan’s Goodbye Chinatown is a vivid and emotional story about food, identity and the search for home.
Amber Fan’s journey as a chef in London’s Chinatown is full of longing, rich sensory writing and quietly powerful moments.
