When we look at what shapes an MS diagnosis, the 2024 revisions to the McDonald Diagnostic Criteria represent an important step forward. The updated criteria provide healthcare professionals with more precise guidance to support earlier and more accurate MS diagnoses, incorporating new diagnostic tools and a broader understanding of how MS presents across different patient groups.

In April the MS movement came together to collect & share info on COVID-19 in people with MS from around the world. Since then, the global data sharing initiative brought together 21 data partners, with information from over 10,000 people with MS from 80 countries.
