I recently created Life Unbound, a monthly art collection for art lovers like you.
I wanted to offer my supporters more than a place to donate. I wanted to give you something tangible in return for supporting my art.
That's how Life Unbound came about.
Twelve paintings. Collectible postcards. Art cards to keep or share.
Life moves. Art remembers.

I have been trying to “skill up” my writing.
(If you hadn’t noticed.)
I have introduced many characters in my stories.
The squirrel gang, my husband, my dogs, my wizard, the ghosts at the gallery, and more.
I realized that while practicing, I have created a recurring cast.
Well, I did get rid of Sir Comma, he was so frickin boring.
The settings and the cast of characters give me a lot to write about.
I had asked Nick @writealready, how he could write every morning? I don’t remember exactly what he said. It was like “There are stories every day in your life. You just need to see them. ”
He was right.
I never thought I had stories.
I was wrong…

Last night I worked with Nick @WriteAlready learning creative writing.
We used zoom for the call. It was interesting seeing his face as he worked through his story.
As I watching his facial expressions I learn something about him that I never knew before. A headless voice can hide a lot. But eyes always reveal the truth.
He appears on spaces as someone chill and laid back. What I saw last night was a tough determined man. Not a feral hippie child.
I know on social media you only see a small part of me.
We make up stories from a headless voice transmitted through packets of digital information.
Will I ever know the entirety of who Nick is? No.
Yet, millions of people will follow someone blindly. When the truth is we only know ourselves.

The airport was eerily quiet except for the soft footsteps and the rumble of roller bags heading toward the exit.
The blue neon lights washed across the grey metal walls. The red sign to baggage claim blinked ahead, as the passengers' eyes blearily focused on the sign.
I moved out of the way of other passengers to catch my breath.
It had been a long day with the delays. I looked at my watch. it was 2 a.m.
I slowly began to head to baggage claim keeping aware of my surroundings. I felt my heart racing. I got to the escalator and hesitated. My balance was off.
I reached baggage claim, I saw the colorful tassels of my bag slowly going around on the carousel. My bag felt heavier as I lifted it off. I looked around for a place to sit while I waited for my husband to arrive. The baggage claim area was empty as I sat there.
My phone rang and I smiled. I walked outside heat and mugginess cloaked me.
As I was putting my bag and backpack in the trunk, my dog Ollie peeked over the back seat and panted.
I got into the car and Ollie leaped onto my lap and snuggled in tightly. I whispered to him, I always come home…

Back in 2020, I ate 7 grams of mushrooms in Utah.
I wore an eye shade and listened to the Johns Hopkins Psychedelic Playlist under the guidance of two therapists.
For years, I couldn't even listen to this song bc it was so fucking beautiful, terrifying, and haunting:

You don’t belong anywhere. The concept of belonging is a transaction. You give up parts of yourself in exchange for proximity to people who tolerate the version you’re performing. And the longer you perform, the further you get from anything real. Most people spend their entire lives auditioning. For circles that were never built with them in mind. And you mistake acceptance for belonging. Those are two very different things. Acceptance is conditional. It expires the moment you stop being useful or agreeable. You belong where you allow yourself to be. Where your presence isn’t negotiated. Where you don’t calculate what to say before you say it. That place doesn’t exist until you build it. Stop trying to be part of something. Being part of something means you’re a component. A replaceable unit inside a structure someone else designed. And replaceable units don’t feel alive. They function. There’s a massive difference between functioning and living. Be the thing. Be the structure. Be the reason the room has a direction. Be so locked into your own trajectory that the question of where you fit becomes irrelevant because you’re too busy building to ask it. I wasted years trying to exist inside spaces that weren’t mine. The moment I stopped looking for a seat at someone else’s table, everything changed. Energy came back. Clarity came back. Purpose came back. You were never meant to find where you belong. You were meant to make it.

When I painted “SF Golden Gate Bridge,” I was thinking about two people who should never have met, but did.
A man from Oakland.
A woman from Mongolia.
Different languages. Different histories.
They would stand together and look out at this bridge, searching for words, then giving up on words and letting the silence do the work instead.
Over time, they learned each other’s language. Slowly. Imperfectly.
But even before the words came, there was this place—this span of steel and light—that held them both.
I began to see the Golden Gate not just as architecture, but as a quiet witness. A bridge between countries, cultures, and the small, ordinary evenings where two people try to understand one another.
This painting grew out of their love story.
Out of the space between them, and the way they crossed it.

Premeditated nostalgia.
Every group has one.
That one soul who quietly becomes the glue. The guru. The firestarter. The mirror.
@WriteAlready came into the Vibe Sesh with that unmistakable energy -
The kind you don’t teach. The kind you remember. Dropping knowledge. Humor. Positivity. Stillness. Every word carrying weight, but never trying to impress.
Then one night…
He looked around the digital circle and said:
“You’ve done 15 episodes. That’s beautiful.
But it will all come to an end. Impermanence.”
And just like that, he broke us -
In the best way possible.
He gave us a gift that night.
He taught us to feel the now.
To hold this season of our lives like it already hurts to leave.
He called it something I’ll never forget:
Premeditated Nostalgia.
It’s not a goodbye.
It’s a deeper hello.
To the magic we’re living right now.
This post is for you, Nick.
Vibe Samurai.
Digital sage.
Master of the moment.
You’re not just in the spaces -
You are the space.

New Tool: Take the Guesswork Out of Pricing Your Art
One of the biggest challenges new artists face isn’t picking up the brush, it’s putting a price on the finished painting.
How much is your time worth? Do you charge by size? By hours? By materials? The truth is, most of us guess at first. We either undervalue our work because we don’t want to scare away buyers, or we overprice because we aren’t sure how to measure the real worth of our art.
That’s why I created a simple Art Pricing Tool to help artists find a fair starting point. Whether you’re just beginning to sell your work or want to bring more consistency to your pricing, this calculator makes it easier to assign value to your creations without the stress.
Think of it as a guidepost, not a rigid rulebook. Every artist’s journey is unique, but having a structure makes the road less overwhelming.
👉 Try the tool here: pforbesart.com/artist-pricin…
If you find it helpful and would like to support its growth, you can fuel the project (and me!) with a coffee. Your support helps me keep building resources that empower artists to thrive.

Huge milestone:
I just signed my first Ghostwriting client.
No outreach.
No sales calls.
No drawn-out back and forth.
Just pure, old-fashioned social equity.
Trust.
My client is a good friend of mine and a successful business owner.
We've chatted on the phone dozens of hours over the past few months.
He trusts and likes me, and I trust and like him.
He sees my writing on X (with 10 million organic impressions over the past year) and knows I have the chops.
I know his industry and can speak its language (Sales).
I also have access to the best AI writing prompts, content creation systems, and Ghostwriting network in the world (Premium Ghostwriting Academy)
Deep down, I know success will be the only inevitable byproduct.
I stand by Sales + Ghostwriting as an elite 2025 talent stack
Onwards and upwards, my friends.

Satsang - Sanskrit for “gathering in truth.”
It’s not just a conversation.
It’s the campfire. The coming home. The place where masks drop and voices meet in something real.
That’s what we’re building here.
Many voices. One mind.

This year I celebrated my 37th birthday. I feel proud to look at the song lyrics and know that NONE of them are true anymore. I've grown into a completely new man...one that i'm proud of. check this out...

Creative process from start to finish | Final words
Adding the darker shades is the last step of prep work.
This will give me the overall perspective of the painting.
I will spend time just staring at the painting and make a mental note of what seems to be off.
The hills were off because the size was wrong.
The next step is to paint from the furthest to the closest.
The Sky will be the first to be painted: then the hills, the water, the cliffside, and the grass.
Once those elements are done, I will add colors to define and begin the highlights and deepen the shadows.
The bridge, waves, and rocks will be the next step.
Now comes the crucial part of the painting. I can overwork it and end up with mud or lose my depth and perspective.
Every Artist struggles with calling it done; your eyes will always see something that needs to be added or removed.
I usually walk away for a day or two before I put my signature on the painting.
That is my reminder not to fiddle with it any longer and quickly take the final photo.
For those starting to paint, my advice is to jump in, learn, and evolve.
Not trying is the only failure.

I highly encourage everyone to start a journal, if you don't have one already. I am so glad I did and it's been so insightful in my journey. Give Nick a follow, he will encourage you daily, to Write Already 😊
Write before you're ready.
Before the coffee kicks in.
Before the self-doubt wakes up.
Write before the inbox steals your morning.
Before the scroll swallows your focus.
Before the world tells you what to care about.
Write one sentence.
Then another.
Then one more, even if it’s messy.
Not to impress.
Not to go viral.
Just to remember who you are when you're not performing.
Writing daily isn’t about being a writer.
It’s about staying awake → to who you really are.
So take five minutes today.
Say something true.
Let it lead you back to yourself.
Write Already.

I wasn’t sure initially if I was going to post this one. It was a very raw, vulnerable conversation that took a couple days for me to process. I decided it needs to be heard by more than those who were in the room at the time. (Not everyone will sit through a 2 hour plus replay.)
When you truly find your voice, use it… others will recognize when you are in genuine alignment. Remember to listen when they give you the opportunity to see yourself through their eyes. I could have easily missed a moment in here, but I didn’t. I heard him.
Thank you, Dave.
