🎉 Welcome back to Term 6 at Wyvil Primary School! We are ready to end this school year with a bang! 💥💙💛
This term is packed with exciting performances, celebrations, parent cafés, exhibitions and special events for our families and children to enjoy together.
Y5/6 children had some of their work published in the Southbank centre’s poetry celebration newspaper!
⚠️ Important School Closure Update ⚠️
🌡️Due to exceptionally high temperatures forecast this week our school sites will be temporarily closed on selected dates to ensure the safety and wellbeing of our pupils and staff.

Yesterday year 4 and 5 arrived on residential and got straight to work! Looking forward to a week on the farm 🐣
Y6 have taken part in a very informative online safety workshop led by the Breck Foundation. Y6 parents - ask them what they have learnt! @BreckFound
End of SATs celebration! We are incredibly proud of all our Y6s, they have approached SATs calmly and with such determination to do to their best!
Final SATs breakfast for our amazing Y6s before their last paper this morning! What an excellent effort for them all!
Year 2 recently enjoyed a trip to the RAF museum in Colindale. We had a great workshop all about the materials used to make airplanes and we got to explore all of the hangars. We saw uniforms, went inside real planes and listened to interactive audios about the history of flight!
We’re looking forward to welcoming our families into school this term!
Our Term 5 Parent Events offer a range of opportunities to be part of your child’s learning and school experience.
Take a look at the poster for full details!🤩
Welcome back to Term 5 – we hope all our families had a lovely break 🌼
We’re also excited to invite you to our upcoming Parent Engagement Café, where you can connect with staff, gain support and take part in helpful sessions.
Join us – we look forward to seeing you there! 😃
Wishing all our pupils, families and staff a very Happy Easter 🐣🌸
We hope you enjoy a restful break and look forward to welcoming everyone back to school on Monday 13 April.
During world book day KS1 enjoyed many different activities. We constructed our own story, had buddy reading sessions with older year groups, joined live lessons and had a fantastic parade to name a few! It was wonderful to see everyone dressing up!
In yr 2 we have been able to enjoy multiple exciting trips over the past few weeks. We were able to go to the Discover story telling centre and The Royal Festival hall for a special concert!
In yr 2 during DT we have been making bug hotels. We first learnt all about mini beasts and habitats which was also our topic in science. We then went outside to collect all the materials we needed. In pairs we made our bug hotels and invited our adults in to see them!
