There was an experiment done where they put an LED watch on someone and it flashed a number too fast for the person to read. Then they suspended them from a rope at height and dropped them randomly. The adrenaline slowed down their perception enough so they could read the watch. I always wondered if in our last moments like this, if our perception of time slows down and we experience much more than people think.

Serial killers don't have above average IQs, for example. There are no masterminds or brilliant schemes. The great art-heists were always just smash and grab jobs. There are no sophisticated criminal subcultures with codes and mythologies.
Almost all crime is just dumb guys with poor impulse control.
The intelligent, sober-minded, and conscientious criminal is a cliché at the heart of so many fun movies that I sometimes wonder if people realize it’s totally fake and in the real world crime is almost all dumb guys with poor impulse control.

It's insane how good capitalism is.

No useless bloody revolution. No violence on people due to rhetoric and ideology. No dictator seizing power by force.
No Leaps Forward, no Cultural Revolution.
Just regular voted governments working and capitalism.
That's what works, guys.
Well done India 👏🏾
