Aviva's £22bn sterling money market fund now has a token version on the XRP Ledger. Companies park cash in it, the fund buys short-term debt with it, and you can withdraw any day. Aviva put in £50m of its own, and one wallet holds 50M of the tokens. xrpl.to/insights/aviva-inves…

The D'CENT App Wallet drain is still running. Since 21 Sep the same keys took 640,370 more XRP. Total: 12.4M XRP from 7,393 wallets. 76 wallets were emptied, refilled, and emptied again. Never send XRP to an old App Wallet address. xrpl.to/insights/dcent-app-w…
The D'CENT drain was counted at 1,552 wallets and 2M XRP. The ledger says 6,678 wallets and 11.7M XRP over six waves. Day one alone took 3.6M, by hand first. The same keys then deleted 5,001 accounts, and 5.6M XRP left for Ethereum through THORChain. xrpl.to/insights/dcent-app-w…

Hardware wallets are coming to xrpl.to 🔐 Your private key is generated inside a secure chip and can never be exported. Not by the app, your PC, or us. Every transaction is signed on-device, PIN-gated, with attestation proving where the key was born.

Used the D'CENT App Wallet? Move your XRP to a new wallet with a NEW recovery phrase, at least for now. @XamanWallet , @BifrostWallet , @JoeyWallet or a @Ledger hardware wallet are viable options.

D'CENT's abnormal App Wallet transfers, read off the ledger: 1,552 wallets. 2,009,321 XRP. Two hours. Two new addresses. One script, one bug, a 33-minute pause, and the 12 richest wallets moved by hand. xrpl.to/insights/dcent-app-w… 1/2
Your wallet asks for a PIN before it signs. Feels safe, right? Inside D'CENT's App Wallet the screen is a website, and the signer signs whatever hash that website sends it. The PIN never sees the transaction. Full teardown, rated 62/100: xrpl.to/insights/dcent-app-w…

Volta Wallet is sold as non-custodial: "your private keys stay with you." Its app, de-compiled: it asks XRPayNet's server for your recovery phrase, posts it back, and sends it again with every transaction. Not one line of signing code on the phone. xrpl.to/insights/volta-walle…

@XRPHealthcare Thanks for clarifying. To be specific: are seed phrases generated and stored exclusively client-side, and are they ever transmitted to or stored on your servers?

Most NFTs are links to someone's server. If it goes away or the owner swaps the file, you own an on-chain receipt. On the XRP Ledger, 93% of NFTs point to art no one can edit with decentralized storage. Where it lives, what breaks it, and how to mint: xrpl.to/insights/how-to-mint…

New detection method: NFT impersonation is now caught at mint. Any new NFT reusing another collection’s images / metadata is flagged by our scam detection system and available through our API. 15 scam detection methods supported, including dust spam, phishing, and NFT scams.
The scammers are getting more and more brazen. A community member was just scammed with a fake Animal Fam NFT today. Animal Fam issuer is linked to Syn3rgy art profile on XRP cafe. This means you can quickly verify if an asset or offer is legitimate. Issuers matter - its how you identify a legitimate NFT rather than a scam. Tips: 1.) Always check the issuer address. For Animal Fam the issuer is: rsynspCY79NU4ghuH8hgvedQv533rdvYfM This shows on cafe (image 1), or you can double check by clicking the Token ID link on the same page which takes you to Bithomp. (Image 2) 2.) Who is offering you the XRP? Do you know the wallet? Is it a legitimate source? 3.) Is it a sell offer or a buy offer? These can look the same, so check. All transactions show you what is happening. Read before signing! 4.) where can you see the offer? NEVER Accept an offer directly through your wallet. Check cafe, and check chain explorers first. Don’t know how? LEARN. Decentralisation has a price - no counterparty to protect you or to blame. Triple check anything you sign. We have noticed that there is a separate animal fam collection minted 3 months ago, it has 60 items. It is not listed on Cafe, but does exist on chain. Its issuer is: rQaFRNKwbfTNDAKvu1mKAf6bFr94mwmDsi Do not interact with any assets issued by this issuer! Stay safe out there - slow down, check what you’re signing. It will only get worse as price appreciates.
