I spent more time in the Xtrata Arcade than I expected.
It was so Immersive, I felt at home having fun.
Most web3 all out games aren't even this detailed.
The games run in the browser, requiring no beefy PC, nor heavy GPU.
You simply walk into a neon hall with 21 Arcade cabinets.
They’re interesting enough that you actually want to chase a score, and some of them hit that classic arcade feeling without feeling like empty flash games.
When you hit a high score, the run gets verified and signed onto an on-chain leaderboard with its replay.
Anyone can rewatch your run later.
The best part: Top 10 scores also automatically earn bounty tickets.
It’s not just fun to play, here's why it's a Big Hit 👇🏾.

Builder Spotlight: Xtrata, by @jimdotbtc.
A neon arcade hall where every cabinet is a game living on Stacks, and every high score is signed onto an on-chain leaderboard.
We played it. Here's what Jim built. 🧵
ALT Inside the Xtrata Arcade, a neon 3D hall in the browser. Rows of brightly lit arcade cabinets line both walls, with posters above them, and a starry patterned carpet runs down the middle. Overhead hangs a large digital board reading "Bitcoin Day 6745, Block 971,398, next day in 26 blocks."

Xtrata can handle bigger files (up to 32mb in theory) but you have to send a separate txn for every additional 512kb chunk of data.
Xtrata uses an inscription wizard to process large files (creates a temp address that browser can control) then users deposit and wallet automates

400 Bitcoin Birds have been rescued from their uncertain "404 habitat" and released into the blockchain by @XtrataLayers.
Their natural predators like broken links and unpaid hosting bills can no longer reach them. 🧡🐦
One caveat. We backed up what that folder served on 8 Oct. We have not confirmed it is the artist's original set.
If you have a record of the originals, we would like to compare.
Plenty of Stacks collections rely on links like this. Each collection page now says where its art lives and how exposed it is:

If yours depends on a link, you can twin it.
