Your record of privatizing public housing, pushing Black& Brown families out of Mpls is long. Your "affordable housing" is for the rich not for us. Did you forget the letter u wrote to Carson/Trump for Section18 to end public housing?#KeepPublicHousingPublic #StopFrey #StopRuss

Why is our mayor @Jacob_Frey continuing to ignore questions from a DC-based journalist and activist about his support for dismantling our city's public housing? Is he afraid of scrutiny?

@Jacob_Frey public housing is way more affordable than the developer-owned, AMI-based "affordable housing" you like to brag about. your police budget alone could pay for maintaining & expanding public housing & would help far more people. teapawt.org/DefendGlendale/status/…
Twin Cities majority-white area median income increased from $94,300 yr in 2018 to $100,000 in 2019 while Black AMI is stagnant @$33,436 a yr. The income of public housing families is $14,201to $20,656. Yet the City of Mpls wants to end public housing. facebook.com/DefendGlendale/…

We are also increasing the base of sustainable, ongoing funding for affordable housing from last year. Dollar-for-dollar, no administration in any Minnesota municipality has ever demonstrated a deeper commitment to affordable housing. #MplsBudget
