Wike should have been the FCT Minister from day one. At this rate, some people would happily have him remain in that office for life.

You're gradually discarding your professorship in support of a barely educated mediocre.
You're too educated and experienced for your recent economic rhetoric.
Norway uses its oil wealth to support public services, including education. Young Norwegian students can attend public universities without tuition fees, while children benefit from free public primary and secondary education. Nigeria is also an oil-producing country, we should borrow a leaf from Norway and turn our oil wealth into better schools, affordable university education, and opportunities for young people.
Our natural resources should improve the lives of our people, not just enrich a few, stop defending the politicians who are impoverishing you with their inhumane policies.

Nigerian manufacturing job additions jump 133% to 81,174.

Nigeria’s manufacturing sector added 81,174 jobs in 2025, more than double the 34,769 jobs created in 2024, marking a 133.47 percent year-on-year increase despite a sharp slowdown in the second half.
The surge in employment was driven by a recovery in factory activity in the first half, supported by a more stable exchange rate for imported inputs, improved business confidence, and a rise in manufactured exports, according to data presented by Segun Ajayi-Kadir, director-general of the Manufacturers Association of Nigeria, at the association’s 54th Annual General Meeting in Lagos.
Job additions totalled 62,906 in the first half of 2025, but fell to 18,268 in the second half, a decline of about 71 percent within six months, highlighting the sector’s fragile recovery.

Arguing against facts and data actually makes you a very stupid and ignorant person.
President Tinubu deserves more than a reelection ahead of the grossly incompetent, empty-headed and mediocre Peter Obi and his wolé wolé elder brother who has absolutely nothing to offer other than campaigning on a populist plan to return us to economic quagmire.

Today at the 32nd Nigerian Economic Summit (#NES32), the Honourable Minister of Finance and Coordinating Minister of the Economy, Mr. Taiwo Oyedele, presented the proposed Nigeria Economic Policy Framework for public consultation.
Policy uncertainty is an invisible tax on enterprise. Unlike most taxes, it raises no revenue. It only destroys value and discourages investment.
The Framework is not a development plan, a list of projects or the manifesto of any administration. It is a national economic doctrine that sets out:
• how Nigeria makes economic decisions;
• the principles that guide them; and
• how we measure real progress.
Two proposals stand out:
• A Policy Impact Statement for every major economic intervention: what problem it solves, the evidence behind it, who benefits, who bears the cost, and when it will end.
• An annual National Economic Scorecard, published on or before Independence Day, showing whether real wages are rising, productive jobs are growing and poverty is falling.
This is a consultation draft, not approved government policy, and it must be shaped by national consensus. The consultation is open until 27 November 2026, at finance.gov.ng/resource-nige…
We invite businesses, professionals, academics, civil society and every Nigerian to contribute, critique it rigorously and help turn it into an enduring national accord.

President Tinubu has done it again.
Last month, I applied for the ATPP program. Yesterday, I received a mail congratulating me on my admission into the program and informing me that the program tuition will be fully covered by the Federal Government of Nigeria.
Thank you President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
