This is what Putin is afraid of in Ukraine. After Kyiv left Russia it would have grown rapidly. Putin could not allow that it would have threatened his perpetual rule.

21st century empires won’t need gunboats – they’ll just need to supply the AI running your defense network. When your national security relies on foreign code, military supremacy becomes digital colonialism. From the recent @RestIsPolitics podcast with @RoryStewartUK.
🇬🇧🇪🇺 Reform is finished.
The anti-EU party has fallen from first place a year ago to third.
Labour, the party bringing the UK back towards the EU, leads the polls at 30%.
Reform championed a Brexit that saw non-EU migration surge while European migration collapsed.
A Brexit sold on lies that held back productivity, growth and British wages.
Soon they will see the UK rejoin the EU and put an end to their sham.
Great news for Britain.

Zelenskyy: I offered the US three options if they want us to stop hitting Russian refineries:
1. Russia stops attacking our energy.
2. Open Starlink over Russian ballistic missile launch sites.
3. Give us Patriot missiles.
We got none. Instead, Starlink was restricted.

The same US president who treats our friend Canada as an enemy is trying to give Alaska to Russia, a country whose absolutely overt foreign policy is to destroy us. This superpower suicide has to be stopped.

Imagine being a CEO of an US energy company and thinking that you work with close associates of the Trump family, only to find out that behind them is a sanctioned Russian company, really pulling the strings.
This happened in Alaska. Polar Train LNG's CEO, Joel Riddle, stepped down after finding out that the Russian "Novatek" company, which is under US sanctions, has been involved in a $25 billion energy project in Alaska. The CEO thought that he was working with Gentry Beach, a close friend of Donald Trump Junior.
Reportedly, that project was also discussed between Witkoff and Jared Kushner when they were with Putin. The White House admitted that the project was talked about "briefly".
We are witnessing the greatest corruption scandal the USA has ever witnessed. It all leads to Trump, his family and the Russians, and apparently they were even ready to sell riches of Alaska to the Russians.
The people in Alaska just need to look over to Russia, where the richest regions in terms of minerals and hydrocarbon resources have been stripped-mined, transferring all the wealth to Moscow and Saint Petersburg and leaving a scarred landscape in extreme poverty. That is the result of rampant corruption.
We are starting to see more details why Trump and his friends are trying so strongly to bully Ukraine into surrender. This is most certainly only the tip of the iceberg.

Ukraine is not Russia. That's Putin’s problem – refusing to recognize a separate nation, refusing to recognize a separate country – that's what did him in. He was shown a military operation that was supposed to take three days. We found parade uniforms in their various military vehicles. They were literally marching to a parade. He still doesn't understand and doesn't want to admit that this is a different nation, a different people.
They were advancing on Kyiv from all directions. Their main goal was to seize the capital of Ukraine. They reached Kyiv. They trapped us, and then we started hammering them, and they didn't know what to do about it. They were especially shocked when they drove toward the capital and people were just throwing burning mixtures. People were setting their armor on fire. It wasn't a matter of some general being an idiot. I believe the one who gave the order just didn't fully realize what was happening.
Because what does taking Kyiv mean? When you've taken those towns on the way to Kyiv, you have to leave troops behind to hold those towns. And that takes a huge number of people. It's a pretty large territory. If the people inside offer resistance, then you need an army to hold every town. That was their mistake. They didn't even realize there would be resistance. That was their main mistake. That's it.

Steve Witkoff has financial interests in russia and he’s in Moscow because Americas foreign policy is now about making as much corrupt cash as possible for the Trump family. That’s why they’re calling Putin a humanitarian.
