The Packers dropped passes including a TD.
The Packers dropped INTs.
The Packers committed some bad penalties that weren’t bad calls.
The Packers did get the crappy end of some bad calls.
The Packers missed short FGs.
I’m actually not too worried about that one. Didn’t mention the Lions at all above. The Pack killed themselves.
Detroit won fair and square but they didn’t kick the crap out of the Packers on their turf. Green Bay just needs to tighten up the ship if they can and get Parsons back up to speed.
Fun to recall MLB once, not too long ago in 2001, wanted to contract two teams because it was untenable to keep them competitive. (Twins/Expos)
Both clubs worth over a billion dollars now. $1.7B in MN and $2.5B in Washington.
Sure…they need a salary cap. Uh huh.
I feel bad for longtime Tigers beat writer @beckjason…his name is maligned during every Michigan football game relentlessly by the anti-Jason Beck Wolverines fans.
Really? Why act surprised or impressed…
“Scouts from the several pro teams are at the game today!”
So….they’re doing their normal job like every week?
Brew Crew grabs Game 1…..I thought the Rays were going to steal it away in the 9th….Hicks smashed one at 104.1 mph w/bases loaded….but it’s a DP to end it.

MLB literally admits that a salary cap wouldn’t change the thing they claim to be standing up for on behalf of “fans” (outcome based competitive balance) 😂😂😂
Competitive balance sits at the heart of the fight that will soon shut down MLB. So @TheAthletic took a deep dive into what the state of parity in MLB really is.
@enosarris ran the numbers, the league and union were interviewed — and two takeaways stood out.

Bummer for GB…the guy is playing pretty well.
Tough blow. Zaire Franklin is OUT for Sunday.
He took a blow to the shin in practice yesterday. #Packers

And again, the question isn't just whether MLB couldn't do a better job at their revenue disparity, but why the *players* should have to foot the bill for an owner vs. owner problem.
I suppose there is a way he could be shown to be innocent….but I don’t see it.
I gotta say…I’d rather see the Packers cut Josh Jacobs or suspend him for the year.
He’s a good player but he might be a crappy human…you can move on from RBs.

Still don’t understand how people can support a cap.
Let’s go ahead and give unlimited profit to owners where the game is growing exponentially, but cap the potential benefit for the players who are directly responsible for the game’s growth.
Mind boggling.

And yes, there *are* some concerning sources of revenue disparity in baseball. That's an owner problem, but they're not proposing the Dodgers fix the problem by sharing more of their revenue to bridge the gap, they're proposing the players fund the owner problem.
One regret I have is not seeing Tahquemenon Falls more often when living in the U.P. My first job out of college had me in the area a fair amount. It’s my fault I didn’t cash in enough.
I went only twice. Once in the Fall…but short of peak color like this pic I found today shows. The other was in early Spring when some snow was still there.
Still…it’s one of Michigan’s most beautiful spots.
I see they’ve now built a wonderful ramp system. My son’s chair will get there easily now. My wife & I hope to get there next summer.

Three teams left, and all three have bigger-than-average analytics staffs.
Brewers: 46 (2nd in MLB)
Rays: 39
Guardians: 30
League average: 28.5
The Phillies have the biggest staff in baseball, and they're already home. Like payroll, it's one input. Everything else combined still matters more.
