Why I started to interact, make research and build on #MultiversX? Everything started with some protocols research back in 2019, during my work in NXP with the CTO group, doing our best to implement a more reliable Secure OTA protocol for the communication layer sending encrypted packages from the servers to cars being sure no car with a cloned chip receives a verified and legitimate encrypted software package. Lot of research, based on both public and private protocol chains. You don't need to be very smart to conclude you need a truly linearly scalable, secure and fast protocol layer that can easily manage high-demand throughput without significant latency. From a technical side, we can say multiple deep dive things about mvx as a L1 technology - from a totally new scalable VM to a cross-sharding architecture up and running. Based on my full stack leading software engineer experience around embedded field, the real adoption around any communication protocol (including blockchain) will be given by the first such protocol that will succeed in interconnecting the most of the (I)IoT providers. The explanation is quite simple. There are far more #IoT devices vs people right now. According to the latest available data, there are approximately 17.08 billion connected IoT devices. This figure is expected to almost double to 29.42 billion by 2030. Software scalability is much cheaper and easier to implement if considered at the very beginning of software development. If you have to scale unexpectedly without taking the necessary steps during implementation, the process will consume much more time and resources. It's just a matter of time till our devices (smart houses, smart cars, smart watches etc) will automatically initiate p2p transactions in our names. Are all these enough for a big corporation to fully trust a public chain and start building on it? Is decentralization the only real response for all the questions in this moment? Nobody knows which L1 will be adopted or if this L1 already exists or need to be invented / safety audited first by a big corporation. Time will tell. There are still too many economical, political & trust-worthy factors in this giant puzzle of adoption. What's pretty sure is that MultiversX is one of the tech pioneers that laid solid foundation for such a highly scalable architecture offering an open source protocol to be used and to build on. What's also very well know is that already multiple big companies tried to build such open ledgers and failed in terms of adoption and imposing their tech in the market. So being a big company doesn't mean you can simply disrupt a new field or impose your tech anymore. Tesla vs Apple on EV cars is maybe one recent good example. The small leak can sink a great ship. Especially in tech. Our dream focus is to push more and more adoption leveraged via #BeHero incubation pipeline and to see these tech startups products transparently communicating each other via blockchain with 0 tech skills needed from the end-user.
