Been speaking to a bunch of couples about this lately and one thing I’ve heard is optimising to have the same amount of excess income after everything has been covered. Seems to lead to a healthier relationship as less compromises made on quality of life together
Which camp are you in? Split 50/50, or as close to equal disposable income at the end of the month as possible? 🤔

Most of these have me thinking that I'm.... Gen x 😲
Generation X is weird. These 42-57 year-olds are so strange it presents golden opportunities. Here are 10 mind hacks to use with Gen X:

These takes are getting quite boring. Is it bad to enjoy working in the office and to think better work happens there? P.s. I dgaf about real estate
My favourite thing to do is to explain to people why workplaces are trying to get them back to offices and the answer is: real estate.

🙌🏽 We created @hapiplan with this in mind! The first junior stocks and shares ISA that allows both parents to manage their children's future together.
I urge all women to know how the household finances work. Even if your partner is ‘better’ at it or you don’t find it very interesting, if you are left to do it on your own I want you to feel confident & able to take control
🎁 8.5 million new, perfectly good toys are thrown out each year in the UK @hapiplan we’ve just released a new way to gift stocks to children. To celebrate I want to help 10 parents, who have never invested for their children to get started with a £25 gift. DM if you want one!

p.s. please tag any parents you know who might want one
Who are the best people to follow in the family finance space? I see a lot of great people writing from a personal finance angle but haven't come across much in the family space. ⭐ bonus points if the focus is on investing and wealth building rather than saving and budgeting

Xmas came early in my local petrol station. Just the casual 15 car queue already on a central London road....

It's not every day your product gets recommended in the same sentence as Vanguard, on one of the most popular money podcasts in the UK ☺️ Grateful to @ClaireWalshT for giving @hapiplan a little shout out bbc.co.uk/programmes/m000zsp…

So apparently Gen Z start saving for retirement at 19, compared to us (millennials) who started at 25. Are people starting to clock that the state won't really help us they like they helped our parents and grandparents?

A customer is trying to transfer their child's junior ISA to us and his old provider just told him it'll take 2 weeks to change the DOB they have on record (there was a typo) before they can even kick off the process 🤯 They're meant to be one of the "robo" apps....
