When I first moved to Vegas I was going to the same breakfast place a lot. The waitress at bar who served me a lot eventually asked what I do. I told her I played poker and she replied, “Oh I once served to Sammy Farha in here.” I replied “yeah we make it 10 handed for him” 😀
🚨Sammy Farha banned for life following altercation with dealer. The former TV poker star allegedly punched veteran dealer Doug Caillier during a PLO cash game at Houston Social. Caillier was treated at an ER and filed a police report, while Farha received a lifetime ban. See the full report here👇 pokernews.com/news/2026/10/p…

Shut all this shit down immediately
Polymarket and its athlete endorsers are under fire for a market on whether any of the seven male defendants accused of raping a Cornell student will get a felony sex crime charge. There was $451K in volume, with traders placing a 28% chance on the market resolving to “yes."

I’m no relation to this Ashby pitcher for Brewers but have a funny story. I was in Cincy playing PLO like 10 years ago one week and I was telling the table how I thought u could have like a hidden skill or talent that you just didn’t know u had. I gave an example of how that maybe I could throw a baseball 95 mph and didn’t know it. I quit baseball and basketball when I was 15 when I got real good at golf and focused on golf and hadn’t fully developed yet physically and hadn’t thrown a baseball since. I was a decent pitcher at young age and told table this and they all laughed and kind of blew me off. Next day I get in elevator at the Westin downtown which is close to the ballpark the Reds play at. Bell guy is in elevator and when it stops for him to get out at his floor he looks at me and says “gl today.” I shoot him a weird look like hows this guy know I’m going to play poker. He noticed the look and then says “you’re pitching for the Pirates today right?” The Pirates were staying at the Westin and I just broke out in the biggest smile and as the door is closing I just say to him “maybe I can throw it 95” 😀

They stop, mid game, not after end of inning of Dodger game, while an inning is going with 2 outs, “now let’s hear a word from Fan Duel.” This shit has to stop, let us breathe.

This is a funny and haunting memory for me. I had every dollar to my name plus more, which wasn’t much while in college on the Cubs to win this series. A guy on our golf team’s dad was booking some of us in sports lol. This game happened right before our home collegiate golf tournament at Eastern KY. It was just a two day 36 hole tournament and I shot 70-70 and holed out on the last hole form 20 yards short of green for eagle and knew if made it I win the tny. Was a great moment for me but what’s funny is all I could think about was who I could bet on in football later that afternoon to try and get even from betting on the Cubs. 😀

Good interview here. And yes @jeremyausmus if you only could’ve vlogged during our 10 20 NL days at Bellagio. Man it would’ve broke the internet. Tx for the mentions and yeah we really lived the best possible time to play live poker in from about 2005-2015. The experiences and stories from that time I have are great to remember.
.@jeremyausmus Thanks for spending time with us on @LateRegPodcast ♣️♦️❤️♠️ 🍀🌅🥞🌊🕺 youtu.be/OQL0bdYxdIs?is=HaO4…

I have a Treasure Island story as well around same year. I loaned a guy at poker table chips in a NL game at Bellagio who u knew of for sure Gina. He showed me like 100k in Treasure Island chips to which I couldn’t take but he assured me if he lost what I gave him in Bellagio chips I could drive him there and he’d get me cash. He lost then wanted more. I told him no and I’d just take him quick and they will hold our seats. I take him there and he says “I’m gonna play some black jack first.” This turns into me sweating him for like 4 hours. He was not counting and was torching it then he got on a good run and I tapped him out and said let’s go. The whole time the regs at Bellagio texting me every ten mins to bring him back but told them I was at the mercy of the black jack deck 😀 all while the pit bosses at Treasure thought I was probably signaling him in black jack when all I was doing was praying to get paid lol.
Today on A Numbers Game, @beatingthebook was joined by @rxgamble! They discuss her book "Advantage Player - a Memoir of Blackjack, Backrooms, and Beginnings" and Gina shares a story about a HUGE score she hit in Vegas! For more, check out: vsin.com/shows/a-numbers-gam…

I’m absolutely dumbfounded as to how everyone sucks in the NFL. Like for the last 10-15 years every position, every coach just keeps getting worse. They literally all suck. 😀

Just saw the Wash score flash on screen and I bet someone sees score and thinks “wow someone prob missed a fg to win” Na, both teams just didn’t want to kick one.

Everything about this scene is perfect. The acting, the music, hell Newman never says a word yet says so much. Perfection
The Color of Money (40 today) gave rise to two absolute classics. Tom Cruise’s “Doom” line inspired the iconic video game title, and Martin Scorsese began reading Nicholas Pileggi’s Wiseguy during downtime; later adapted into Goodfellas. I was obsessed with this film.
