The ZX Spectrum became the UK’s best-selling computer—and helped open the door for a generation of British game makers. A rubber keyboard with a huge legacy. #ZXSpectrum BACK THE BOOK: kickstarter.com/projects/48k…

Cyclone for the ZX Spectrum. An addictive game from 1984. Not much nexclash removal needed, BUT, having the characters as masked sprites makes it so much cleaner!! Took $30 of cloud credits and identified a Z80N gap in my workflow!! @ZXSpectrumNext is awesome

Inside the Spectrum, one chip called the ULA handled colour graphics, sound and more. Small machine, busy chip! #RetroComputing BACK THE BOOK: kickstarter.com/projects/48k…

Speccy setup: plug it into your TV, connect a cassette player, press play… then wait and hope your game loaded first time. Who remembers that sound? 📼 #ZXSpectrum BACK THE BOOK: kickstarter.com/projects/48k…

The original Speccy keyboard had BASIC commands printed on the keys. In command mode, press P and it entered PRINT. Talk about a shortcut! #ZXSpectrum BACK THE BOOK: kickstarter.com/projects/48k…

#ordenador #retro #spectrum #1980s #historia

Why “Spectrum”? The name celebrated its colour graphics—and that rainbow stripe made sure you never forgot it. 🌈 #RetroGaming BACK THE BOOK: kickstarter.com/projects/48k…
