New paper alert. The findings of our retrospective cross-sectional study @JAMANetworkOpen suggest that there may be differences in the level of health professionals’ EHR engagement for patients of different races and ethnicities in the inpatient care setting.
In study of adult patients hospitalized at 2 major US academic med institutions between 2018-2020, the EHRs of minoritized racial and ethnic populations were more likely to receive less health professional engagement compared w/ those of White patients. ja.ma/46mH2cK
