You know I like sharing my stories as a Medium, as UGogo, as a mother, and as a friend. Today ladies, it's not about you. 😌 Today I want to speak about healed men and men who are still healing. As a seer, people don't only come to me to talk about ancestors. They come to offload. They come carrying pain, disappointments, secrets, and wounds they have hidden for years. And let me tell you something... Healing a man is harder than healing a woman. 😅 Hayi bo, men are hard nuts. The kind of nut that needs a hammer, a spade, a needle, a drill, and maybe a sangoma's entire toolbox just to crack open. 🤣 I have had many men cry right in front of me. Some have cried during virtual sessions. Some have cried so quietly that the tears came before the words. And every time it reminds me that behind every strong man is a heart that also feels pain. Ladies, sometimes you do not understand the emotional damage that can be done to a man. When he is falsely accused. When he is used. When he is called names. When he is constantly compared to other men. When he discovers he was manipulated. When he is isolated from his family. When he is carrying the financial burden of everyone around him. When he is loved only for what he provides and not for who he is. Look, nobody is perfect. But being hurt does not give us permission to break another person into pieces. As healers, we see things differently. Some men are not broken because of a woman. Some are broken because of family wounds. Some are carrying childhood trauma. Some were abused. Some were raped as boys and never spoke about it. Some are fighting addictions. Some are carrying years of rejection. Some are exhausted from trying to be strong every single day. Society tells men not to cry. God and Ancestors tell me a different story. God and Ancestors show me that tears are not weakness. Tears are healing. Tears are cleansing. Tears are the spirit releasing what the mouth has been too afraid to say. So let a man heal. Let him talk. Let him cry. Let him express himself. Let him be free. Stop always wanting to speak. Sometimes thula nje. Listen. Hold space. Just listen. When a man cannot be vulnerable around the woman he loves, it worries me kakhulu. A home should be a place of peace, not a battlefield. Your man is a King. 👑 Treat him like one. Respect him. Value him. Encourage him. Don't always arrive breathing fire like a dragon from a movie. 🤣 Even kings get tired. Even kings get wounded. Even kings need healing. And to all the majita reading this... I am proud of you. The ones who are healing. The ones who are trying. The ones who pray when nobody is watching. The ones who get up every morning despite the pain. The ones who survived what almost broke them. I see you. You are loved. You are valued. You matter. And most importantly... You are going to be fine. God and ancestors did not bring you this far to abandon you now. ❤️ One of my greatest joys as a female medium is watching a broken man slowly become himself again. Watching him laugh again. Trust again. Love again. Dream again. Yoh, it makes my heart so full with custard. 😭❤️ I wish I could go on my knees and say, "Yebo Baba, well done!" 🤣 But hayi, with these knees it will take me three business days and two witnesses to get back up. 🤣🤣 Keep going, Kings.
