Hey friends, I’m moving back to the East Coast in 2ish months!
I’m looking for my next opportunity in tech writing, tech community management, and developer relations.
I’ve been doing well job searching but often lose out in the final round. 🙃
I’d love remote job leads! Thx!
hey @AmericanAir before I got on my flight, a staff member told me that my bag fell off the luggage cart and run over. He said it was taped up and would make it to my destination but I'd need to file a report when I arrived. I fly back on Monday and need a suitcase for my trip...

Me: "I mean, I don't get panic attacks or anything so how bad could my mental health be?"
Therapist: "You don't need panic attacks to be considered to have bad mental health."
Me: "Oh."
Therapist: "Also the symptoms you've described are definitely panic attacks."
Me: "Oh no."
Join us for our virtual Writing Day at Write the Docs Atlantic 2023!
We are looking for awesome projects to join us and get into creating/improving their docs. Our attendees want to learn about projects who want their involvement so they can contribute to them.
See you there!
OSS, DevRel, and community friends, we have a special invitation for you: to bring your OSS projects to Writing Day on Sept 10, 2023! The event is devoted to creating and updating OSS docs. Join us and meet a new community of friends: writethedocs.org/conf/atlant…

In recognition for her efforts to highlight the geologic Eras that formed the planet and for shaping our world as much as the tectonic plates beneath us, we have selected @taylorswift13 as an Honorary Geologist for the state of Washington.

ALT A purple certificate peppered with cartoon rocks, a rock hammer, and a volcano. It is very official. The text reads: Honorary Geologist Awarded to Taylor Alison Swift for championing awareness for Earth’s geologic eras by bringing the Eras Tour to Earth The document is signed by Commissioner of Lands Hilary Franz and State Geologist Casey Hanell
I have the flexibility to take on part-time, contract, or FTE.
I’ve preemptively updated my Twitter and LinkedIn profiles back to the East Coast.
Historically I’ve had better success job searching while East Coast based. Not sure why.
I appreciate all of y’all!

Reminder that the SAT was literally created bc too many students of color were getting into college. The creator of it published that the increase of racial diversity in schools would cause the decline of American intelligence. By 1930, he admitted it was a eugenics test.

Please.
Folks, seriously.
PLEASE.
Do not - and I can’t emphasize this enough - set the state on fire this weekend.

Sodom and Gomorrah is trending in the United States right now, so it is a good time to say it again: the story of the destruction of those cities is not due to same-sex sexuality, but to inhospitality, rape, and a lack of concern for the poor and foreigner.

Turns out my insurance through my spouse covers Auvi-Q for the same copay as a generic epi-pen.
Auvi-Q is smaller, a better shape, easier to carry, and can even fit into a pocket. With the generic, I had to get purses that were a certain height and width to fit it.

There's a professional cricket team in Seattle called the Seattle Orcas, and this is their logo, and I feel like someone in their marketing department is asleep at the wheel if they're not trying to sell t-shirts to everyone at a moment.
