No one had more influence on my career than Stuart Gordon. He pushed boundaries & took chances. His sets were full of fun & good cheer even while he exposed the inner darkness of the human psyche in his stories. Happy birthday to a master of the macabre!

Paul Reubens provided huge inspiration for my work on #EvilDead2. I had been watching Pee-wee's Big Adventure on VHS repeat while sculpting. Large Marge gave me the idea for Henrietta's bugged-out eyes and mouth.
RIP Paul, you wonderfully creative man. I tip my hat to you, sir.

Remembering the producer and screenwriter Debra Hill, who died on this day in 2005 of cancer, aged just fifty-four. Her films include HALLOWEEN (1978), THE FOG (1979), and ESCAPE FROM NEW YORK (1981) for John Carpenter, as well as David Cronenberg's THE DEAD ZONE (1983). #rip
