Zimpleman College of Business retweeted
We’re excited to announce Alanah Mitchell has been named dean of @ZimplemanDrake, effective July 1, 2025, in a planned succession of Dean Alejandro Hernandez, who will continue serving as associate professor.
Mitchell currently serves as associate dean of academic affairs and the Aliber Distinguished Professor of Information Systems—bringing with her extensive expertise in technology-driven processes and change to help guide the College through a business landscape that continues to be reshaped by technology and artificial intelligence.
We are incredibly grateful for the transformative impact of Dean Herndandez’s leadership and countless accomplishments during his five-year tenure as dean.
Congrats to our very own, Professor Anna Clarke, on her article featured in AACSB Insights on the importance of integrating community-focused values in business class curriculum. Read the full article here.
