There needs to be a BIG push informing people that Republicans made most of their healthcare cuts begin in 2027. This was something they put in their big rip-off bill so when stuff starts getting worse, they could blame the Dems for it. Healthcare premiums ARE ALREADY UP 26% because of Trump’s policies, so when people lose their healthcare and have to go to the emergency room more, it DRIVES UP prices for all of us. They knew they were likely to lose the midterms because their policies are unpopular, so to give themselves a talking point in the ‘28 presidential race, they created a bigger problem so they could blame Democrats for it. They made your life worse for politics. Vile. This is literally a five-alarm atomic bomb waiting to go off and not enough are talking about it. It’s a big deal!!!

As results were coming in last night, I heard from Padres pitcher Lucas Giolito, who FOS previously reported donated to Abdul El-Sayed.
"Although I don’t live in Michigan, I believe he’ll be a great progressive voice in the US senate," Giolito told me.

Mike Johnson: Democrats will turn every committee of Congress into an investigative body. They’ll go after Trump's family, the cabinet, his donors, and friends.
The Padres' first transactions of the offseason:
1B/DH Nick Pratto re-signs after joining the org and El Paso last summer.
Signed RHRP Angel Hernandez (not that one), a 23-year-old who spent three years in the DSL with Miami before pitching in his native Mexico this year.

Moises Alcalde matched up against George Ferguson in the final game of the Pan-American championship a few weeks ago and pitched well.
He held Team USA to just one earned run over six innings, with four strikeouts and two walks.
The San Diego Padres signed Venezuelan RHP Moises Alcalde yesterday for a $20,000 signing bonus.
Alcalde, 18, impressed at the recent U-18 Qualifier, showcasing a fastball sitting 91–93 mph, pitchability, and the potential to develop into a starting pitcher.
Pictured with Alcalde are his grandfather and scouts Kelvin Alarcon and Luis Prieto.
Second significant hire away from the Padres' baseball ops group this offseason.
The New York Mets are hiring A.J. Ellis to their major-league coaching staff as strategy coordinator, league sources told The Athletic. Ellis, the former catcher, adds more major-league playing experience to the staff in a significant way. nytimes.com/athletic/7753333…
