If you know Thrasher, you know that we hold our home, San Francisco, in the highest regard. So it is with the heaviest of hearts that we mourn the passing of a man who embodied the City like no other. Mickey Reyes was an icon of an era defined by the concrete of our seven-by-seven jungle. Though tough and well respected, behind the brawn he carried a profound heart of red and gold. His legacy sprung from the streets but extended far beyond them. A lifetime member of the Deluxe family, Mickey was more than a team manager. He was a father figure, a calming presence and a security blanket. If Mickey had your back, you knew you were solid. Most importantly, there is life after skateboarding. Mickey leaves behind a family he loved beyond measure. We send all our love and support to his daughter, Dakota. Big Mic FOREVER. - TV
