might be a controversial take, but —
hindus in today's era, are not philosophically developed enough to grasp the depth of their own scriptures.
this is why, even if scriptures become accessible to them, they misinterpret the content due to their lack of philosophical depth.

India isn't developed, it's developing, so it needs patriots, not parasites.
I think what is actually needed is for Indian people to actually give a damn about their cities and fellow citizens.
Anybody using the "I pay taxes, I shouldn't have to do anything" excuse should go live in another country. India isn't developed, it's developing, so it needs patriots, not parasites. If this triggers you, it means you're part of the problem.
If you're not happy with the footpath (or a pothole, or anything else which is broken), fix it, or call someone to fix it, and don't give up until it's fixed. Be relentless. Be vocal. Be creative. Make it your mission to get that one thing fixed. Look at what Virendra (@Virendra0698) did by just calling the right people and being respectful (but also persistent). He and Arun Pai (@arunpaiblrwalks) along with the help of GBA and some wonderful volunteers turned an unofficial garbage dump into a pristine, beautiful footpath through sheer force of will.

Beautifully written and something very relevant to me personally. Also reminds me of what my father keeps saying.
Pain in the short term is to learn in the middle term and gain in the long term
"No job is beneathe me, I used to clean toilets when I was young. I have cleaned more toilets than all of you combined. Some that I can’t unsee.
You can’t show me a task that is beneath me.”
- Jensen Huang
Jensen Huang, whose company is worth upwards of 5 trillion dollars today, said this as part of his talk at a prestigious university while telling the students about the importance of suffering and resilience.
Of course I got inspired by these words, else I wouldn’t be referencing them as the opening of this blog post, but it is not only because of Huang rather, it is a validation of all the inspiring people whom I have had the privilege to observe or work under.
Every single one of those people follow this trait.
From them I have understood the value of a certain amount of suffering in our lives to be able to get something meaningful out of life, be it in my job or my everyday life.
In today's blog post I wrote about the importance of suffering in a world that thinks it has become optional.
Penned down my thoughts, experiences and musings on suffering and my definition of the suffering quotient.

I love how AI is helping Americans rediscover rural villages from first principles.
Except what was most of humanity's setup a century ago now costs around $8M, according to Grok. "Progress", I guess 😅
