As Tomb Raider celebrates its 30th anniversary this year, I wanted to share my little contribution to the celebration by sharing a preview of the story I've been working on:

Nathan's charming smile and Lara's little pout — what could possibly go wrong with these two?

Before Lara Croft became a gaming icon, a small team at Core Design in Derby was bringing Tomb Raider to life in 1996.
Thirty years later, we're grateful for everything they created and proud to carry that legacy forward as Tomb Raider's story continues.
Cheers to the team that started it all.

Happy 30th Anniversary @tombraider
Going WAY back to 1999 when my journey with Lara Croft began! From drawing the first 20 issues of her @TopCow comic series to countless covers and video game art, I’ve always said—I’ll NEVER get tired of drawing Lara!

It’s Halloween week, so what better way to celebrate than by paying a visit to Ireland in Tomb Raider Chronicles and share some few facts! 😍✨️
I love the spooky vibe of this level and how it is mixed with Irish folklore and norse mythology.

Happy 30th anniversary to the Officially Amazing Lara Croft! 🥳
First shaking up the gaming scene in October 1996, the @tombraider series hit its 30th anniversary this month - an incredible achievement that few franchises celebrate!
As everyone's favourite action hero archaeologist, it's no surprise that the lionhearted Lara has a few world records under her legendary belt. Our favourite is probably that she's the best-selling videogame heroine.
Over 100 million Tomb Raider games have been sold since Lara first set out from Croft Manor 30 years ago.
She's blazed a trail for gaming girls everywhere, and stands shoulder to shoulder with other greats of videogaming like Metroid's Samus Aran and Aloy from Horizon Zero Dawn.
We can't wait to see what the future holds for Tomb Raider and Lara Croft. If you ask us, she's pretty darn iconic… Here's to another 30 years!
Another thing I liked about this teaser is that even against mercenaries, Lara is openly facing them, constant movement/acrobatics, instead of generic cover shooter

Hi all! I’m on the train back from Derby now. It was such a magical event, I met incredible people and I met the level designer behind Tomb Raider 3.
I was told a lot about London. Apparently the key on top of the drill in Aldwych wasn’t supposed to be there and was supposed to be in a safety deposit box. Which is why that key is placed so weirdly.
Luds Gate was supposed to be twice as long with the level continuing from the bit at the end with the giant shaft where you jump across to end the level
All Hallows was supposed to start after sliding down the slope near the bell that hit the guy in Thames Wharf.
The person who made Tomb Raider 3 Aldwych said that he accidentally put the wrong colours on the railway tracks which is why the red and the green are mixed up on the track when the train comes.
In Aldwych where you put in the Solomon Keys there was supposed to be a puzzle which is why there are moving plinths above each key. Also the masonic hammer was supposed to be used in the puzzle and not on a random door.
In Aldwych the reason why there is a random pit of water before the masonic section is because they wanted to stop any enemies following you as water kills the enemies.
Really interesting facts there. 😄
