#vss365 #commitment #poevive How life takes different turns and twists While flowing at its own pace Somehow I was moving along with Falling, crawling, rising Facing each day with a new hope Holding, relieving the nuances of life Nothing new Just monotonous blues And, then he came A dawn of dreams A dense shade in the scorching summer noons A peace of shadowed evenings A miracle of light in the winter night So gentle With delicate smiles So understanding With yearning eyes All the happiness of this world had found a place in his presence The ordinary days became extraordinary No commitments No promises No audience to please No explanation to offer No need to become smaller Just heart grew larger Every God became his face Every prayer , his name Just he remained and his grace I do not know What emotion is this Or where to place all the tenderness I feel I only know that somewhere in this world There is a person Whose happiness will always matter Though may never converge Our paths must remain parallel I send wishes through dandelion Scatter message in the pollen of flowers Blooming wherever they fall Hide blessings in the four clover leaves Tie my love at the clouds’ crease Ask the sun rays to rest at his windowsill until he wakes Beseech winds to carry my warmth Ask stars to hang in the row at his facade Plead moonlight to reside upon his ceiling I will leave a note of longing beside the aroma of his coffee Let a verse of Hafiz flow like river beneath his balcony And when the world becomes emotionless I will turn myself into dust To mingle in his garden To enhance the scent of jasmine To reach his breaths For no fragrance born of love is forbidden

#vss365 #bionicanadian #inkmine #writemap #SharadPoornima Tonight, the moon seems lovelier than before Heavens have opened a secret door To bathe the earth in silver I sit beneath its spell And time stands still   It is not the first time I have seen its face I have known its light in many a time and place Since childhood, through the tapering years that ebb and flow I have watched its gentle radiance come and go Upon the rooftop, where the warm winds slept Along the village paths where moonlight crept Through train windows Where the world rushed past Between tall towers, glimpsed at last The moon was always there serene and whole I along with every fragile beauty changing, season after season Learning the grief of love, the weight of reason Moon has never changed at all Becomes a different world to each of us To a child, a toy in a far-off sky To youth, a dream that teaches the heart to fly To lovers, it is longing dressed in light A promise in the arms of night To poets, a metaphor the soul has known To sages, a truth in silence A mystery veiled in mathematical grace And to the old, whose days have softly flown A lamp that lights the roads of years gone by I think, each soul must surely own A private moon, beyond all mortal art That rises in the sky behind the heart No telescope can find its hidden place No photograph can capture all its grace It shines through memories no words can frame And though the years pass by, it stays the same The cots waiting in the evening tide Or on the rooftop, where we lay awake at night My grandmother would weave her tales of old Of rabbits on the moon and kingdoms made of gold Of Chanda Mama, dear and far away And fairylands where dreams were free to stray We never asked if any tale was true But now, the world has hurried on its way We have forgotten how to let the hours stay The moon still rises over roof and tree But who among us has the time to see? Our phones announce the weather and the skies And silver moons appear before our eyes We capture what we scarcely stop to know Then leave before its light has time to grow Once, we waited for the moon to rise Now, we collect its image, digitised Once, beneath its light, we sat and dreamed Now, we scroll past the wonder that once gleamed We have learned to hold its likeness in our hands Lost the art of stillness that we understand Tonight, I watch the moon and something stirs The moon will shine when all our names are gone So let me sit a little longer here  No need to possess, or explain Some wonders lose their magic when we name Tonight, I need no answer from the skies Only the moon, the dark and wondering eyes For somewhere, in the stillness of this hour Beyond the reach of reason’s restless power The universe and I seem strangely one Tonight, the moon seems lovelier than before And wears my childhood Upon its face

#vss365 #fueling #bionicanadian These days The world is experiencing countless cruelties and fueling anxieties We still somehow survive Still our heart hums love Irrespective of life’s bitter inflictions Every night we die temporarily and wake again to face the day Stuffing smiles on our lips Though eyes do betray But our countenance knows the art How perfectly we wear the masks But, I believe How much evil may exist Every happiness finds its dwelling in love Paths may haunt Wallpaper skies may appear fake Living seems a burden Darkness may prevail around Everything may not be right with the world Still , live Live for the ones who loves you Love the ones who accepts you with all your complexities Light will come eventually Just leave the doors open This is how I am navigating through night By remembering that love doesn’t come plainly It comes with sufferings There’s no love otherwise It’s like a burning moth in the flames It’s like a mountain goat on the tiny edge It’s like a wildflower raising head out of cracks It’s like a blade of grass smiling through snow Its like a grieving heart Still waiting to sing the songs of eternal bonding It’s like the last breath exhaled at the final kiss Still fall helplessly in love And, hold it with both hands

#vss365 #nervous #poevive #inkmine ✨Becoming Lighthouse✨   Once, while I lived in a safe bubble My dreams were exorbitant gems Carved on fragile sandcastles   Then a treacherous tempest rose My castle merged ashore   Precarious waves wiped the ephemeral art That once glittered in my nervous heart   I caged myself in cataclysmic fears Lambency refused to appear   As the day’s last glint succumbed, I rose, transfixed Bathed in the amethyst glow of dusk’s entrancing hush I stopped chasing melancholic hues Fibbing to celebrate beauty in blues   Burnt negativity to smouldering embers Rekindling hope in inner chambers   As radiant positivity ignited bright Tears became stars in its fulgent light   I grew my spirit tall, standing up after every fall Becoming a lighthouse, battling the dazzling dark   Accepting That life brings turbulent waves   Learning To ride them resiliently   Loving Without reason or many expectation   Reconnecting With things that enlighten   Making A little home inside for memories That are a piece of my soul   Realizing The glory of each breath Making peace my preeminent goal PS- Sharing this poem from my book Where the Silence Echoes.

#vss365 #training #bionicanadian @bionicanadian His face like orchards bloomed by seasons
Dawn gleams along the edges
Every contour carries a mystery I try to decipher
who needs language Just nearness His smile Keeper of untold secrets Of laughter withheld
Of desires hiding beneath equanimity
The sort of mouth, memory returns to again and again His eyes Where oceans flows Shine like the first ray of the sun There is a cadence In the span of his shoulders
In the easy reach of his limbs
In the hidden current beneath his flesh   His frame Ancient architecture It is not formed naturally
But sculpted by Greek Gods Chiseled by training hard   His hands How they carry the gravity To pull everything with grace
How strength settles in them so gloriously How tenderly it feathers on my skin Like soft zephyrs touch the flowers
They do not know their own wonder but I do   His chest A hearth where my wandering finds the rest A shelter built not of walls but of warmth Every storm becomes calm And every fear uncurls like a sleeping child I lay my head against that steady rise and fall And know, at last, what it means to belong   And beyond all that There remains the enigma He is not a passing verse In another person’s ballad He is the composition itself
The melody
The resonance
The silence between notes The first chirp of nightingale at the windowsill He is the rain-dark cedar
Embers beneath winter earth He is resolve softened by kindness
Power tempered by tenderness   Yet something more
A rare and luminous thing His love Not bound by sky or shore A river with no mouth, no source Flowing through lifetimes I have not yet lived It is older than stars, deeper than silence An endless, unbroken thread That holds me when I am in shreds Beyond this world, beyond all counting It endures Infinite, relentless, mine But I behold it And I am astonished

#vss365 #sneaker #bionicanadian When ‘I Love You’ isn’t a text It becomes~ An exclamation of emotions A resistance that unveils A shift that stays A holy thing that bows A curiosity that awakens A question forsaken A sneaker of silence A tranquility that rises A waking reverie that suffices   A phenomenon that enchants A renaissance that blossoms A freedom that’s wholesome   A belonging that anchors A fellowship that binds A balm that’s kind   A sacred breathing thing   And endless thoughts of him

A poet for the ages. Your linguistic brush is a light so necessary in today’s foreboding darkness, dear Monica. An incredible piece of art you have created and shared, my dear friend. 🫶
#vss365 #bionicanadian I am a lover of dying suns Sky seems reciting a prayer to the earth The narrow buds close their eyes And bow to the departing light Morning leaves her blossoms to repose on the couch of hues blurred Evening, with her dusky cheek Receives sun’s last kiss without a word   How gently the world lets go That can’t be kept When the weight of living grows too heavy I turn towards the autumn forest Wilderness doesn’t ask anything from me   The wood drake rests upon the water The heron wades through the shallows The trees stand in their ancient silence Indifferent to the grief I carry Dusk does not question my sorrow The stars, blind to the affairs of the day Wait above me with their patient light And for a little while I forget the exhausting business of being human   I walk in the shelter of benevolent moon I speak to him as I speak to myself My words dissolve into the night Nature listens without listening It does not force me to smile To be brave To appear whole When I am scattered in pieces It accepts my loneliness Doesn’t try to cure it The dark earth envelopes me Never judge why I tremble   How easy it is to be in wild No one demands a version of me That I can’t bear to become I have grown weary of people Of the masks that feel like faces Of the feigned attachments that feel like love   I do not know what will become of me When morning returns with its demands When the world puts on its restless face And I must learn to wear my own But tonight I lay my troubled heart open I rest in the grace of the open air I am free Belong to nothing But feel held by everything

#vss365 #unexpected Today The world is glowing with the grandeur of God Autumnal sweetness rises from the earth I lay flat-backed beneath the tall pines on the emerald carpet got warm by the sun I try to scoop up love stories from the past And keep it in a Dixie cup to sip its essence drop by drop Homer’s Penelope arrived Flamed the lamp of faith alive Waiting for the return of beloved Whereas he’s lost in world   Shakespeare placed Romeo beneath Juliet’s balcony A love so deep, refused to kneel before the divisional cacophony   Virgil sent Aeneas through the flames of Troy Dido opened to him her wounded empire she stood with all her tenderness betrayed By duties greater than desire And Emily Brontë She gave us Catherine and Heathcliff Two souls entangled in a terrible eternity “I am Heathcliff,” Catherine said Identity itself had dissolved beneath serendipity   And Tagore, whose songs seemed born Where the infinite leans toward the human Knew that love must leave the window open In his world, the heart is not a locked chamber   Kahlil Gibran, standing between two souls Would have us remember that love is not a wall But a temple with pillars standing apart   And, now I turn to him..my beloved All the poets might have written epics All the philosophers might have pondered And all eternity has held within its silence Would fall short of my bard The universe may boast of infinity But not the unexpected measure of his heart

#vss365 #sin October arrives in rust The sun a bruised coin Slipping early beneath the trees Leaves scratching at the earth Like small, restless sins piercing the core These melancholic evenings keep on playing some memories like a damaged vinyl record The needle returning to the same beautiful wound An unusual grief O Darkness! Please come through this copper evening Lift me into your arms We’d dance beneath the waning crescent Until night seems jealous of our charm And, when the last leaf falls Let your heartbeat be my home Oh Dawn, gather my soul Let this body roam

#vss365 #island #bionicanadian @bionicanadian I have become an island Cut off from the sea Forged in flood and flames I have become a ghost of myself My own haunting And my heart refuses to behave I have become the dark hour Just before the dawn Hollow and airless I have become discarded ash Tossed aside by fragile embers Listless ,useless I have become the last minute Can’t stretch to the now Forgotten, abandoned I have become an unnamed grief Slowly aching Veiled, stained I have become an exiled dawn Mourning the bleeding colours Shadowed, pale I have become an evergreen wound Rotting, decaying Still I remain I have become distorted truth Maligned by lies Still I remain I have become ink Smudged, incomprehensible Still I remain I remain I remain

#vss365 #hurricane #bionicanadian @bionicanadian Within me lies a city  Without maps Without paths Streets build themselves Collapse on their own And each day  I walk upon those very ruins People ask ‘What is the destination?’ I offer no reply  The truth is I have not constructed the doors in my own walls Destiny did Time did There are rooms but its doors are meant to open inward Windows are shut And the demolition is huge Walls waiting for the dust to settle Suffocating my breaths Still burning my thoughts in the dark Not from fear, but from habit And habits hold tighter than any lock Now, I am drawing twilight skies To endure the hurricanes of heart Where only a memory enters A prayer which has human feet A face with the gaze of a stone Meandering within For an unfinished journey Endless maze is not proof of defeat But of building and breaking A trace in the process of surviving

#vss365 #harbour #tanka How I long to be Ephemeral Shiuli Fall like a prayer  Return to its origin Soil becoming dark harbour PS- Shiuli blooms in the secret hours of night, whispers with moonlight what daylight could never understand, then falls at sunrise, a fragile reminder that some souls are born only to vanish with the light.
