It's just unbelievable how much has happened in the span OF ONLY 6 DAYS:
October 22: Switch 2 exploit is published
October 23: first proof-of-concept homebrew released
October 24: first ROMs dumped
October 25: ROM dumper publicly released for everyone
October 26: first Switch 2 game recomp (MK World) running on macOS
October 27: first Switch 2 emulator proof-of-concept shown, Mario Kart World ported to iPhone, recomps of Pokémon Pokopia, Fire Emblem Fortunes Weave, DK Bananza for PC
We expect within the next few days the emulator and recomp tools will be released publicly.

Uncharted 2's multiplayer was still inside the Nathan Drake Collection 🤯
Porting it to PC, I found the co-op and competitive maps in the game files, plus Naughty Dog's online code. Only the network part was cut.
Bringing it back now, work in progress.

Man, look at this major shift happening not in favor of PC.
People complain about issues on PC because they don't accept the minimum level effort slop these studios push to the blind on console.
There is an absolute shift happening and it's not in favor of PC.
PC gaming sucks and at least more are finally admitting it publicly.

Red Dead Redemption 2 just got a new mod titled "enRAGE" that adds a fully functional nemesis system into the game.
This makes every single NPC have a name, traits, quirks, a trade, a faith, a family and a life story. So people you meet turn up again in the same towns with the same face and the same grudges as it adds a full memory system.
The map is now populated with 8 factions that are constantly at war with each other, having their own hierarchy and captains that you or their enemies can take out. Every single encounter is remembered, including exactly where you wounded them in the case that they survive the fight. This means that RDR2 now has a fully functional faction war that goes on all the time with this mod and factions will remember your actions against them. There is a ton of new dialogue and you can even interrogate NPCs now to get additional information on their friends and allies.
This is an extremely impressive mod and it's now available in early access to download for anyone who has RDR2 on PC.

Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection is getting a native PC port thanks to a fan project.
Developer Mindro has released the first test of the project, getting Uncharted: Drake’s Fortune running directly on Windows without using a PS4 emulator.
The current test can:
-Boot the game
-Load the main menu
-Run the opening cutscene
-Reach the point where the player takes control
He wants to bring all three games in the collection to Windows: Drake’s Fortune, Among Thieves and Drake’s Deception.
It’s still very early development, so this is far from a finished PC port.
Sony never released the original trilogy on PC, so this could eventually give PC players a way to experience the first three Uncharted games without emulation.

I will never quite understand why console players get angry when a Rockstar game comes to PC. It’s always been this way.

Shadow of the Colossus now has a native PC port in development, based on the PS4 version!
The project runs the game's original x86-64 code directly on Windows instead of relying on a full PS4 emulator. It uses Vulkan to handle the game's graphics and is built on the same technology behind the Bloodborne PC project.
The current version includes:
-Support for Windows 10 and 11
-A 60 FPS mode
-Resolution options up to 4K
-PS4 Pro graphics modes
-Keyboard and controller support
-Mouse camera controls
-Performance improvements
The developer reports around 67 FPS in the title-screen demo on an RTX 2060 SUPER with 60 FPS mode enabled, although performance drops in heavier areas.
It's still a work in progress, and you'll need your own compatible PS4 game dump. The project doesn't include the game files or the Sony system modules required for audio.
Another PS4 game getting closer to running natively on PC, without needing a full emulator.
