Almost 70% of wildlife has been lost in the last 50 years.
Tackling biodiversity loss is essential in addressing climate change 🌎
That is why the UK is putting nature, and the sustainable use of natural resources, at the heart of its #COP26 Presidency.

Here’s the thing: by 2030 we need to cut emissions by about 45% just to keep global warming to 1.5 deg. Today’s report👇shows planet on course to reduce by only 1%
Before #COP26, countries need real plans & action to achieve big emission cuts by 2030. No ifs. No buts. No time.
A new UN Climate Change report shows that climate plans submitted so far by countries do not put us on a path to meet the Paris Agreement goals.
But many parties must still submit their #NDC. This year, we can turn this trend around. #ItsPossible
