Why do I love Poppy Playtime and Mob Entertainment so much? I’ll explain. I’ve known Mob ever since their Minecraft videos. Knew Zamination as well and watched both of their videos. When chapter 1 released, I really felt like there was something special to it. It just has this artistic direction that really stood out and felt unique to me. The huggy chase especially was magical to me. I remember my first time finding Poppy Playtime through an edit of the Huggy chase just days after the chapter’s release. Chapter 2 was special. I woke up early the morning of the gameplay trailer‘s release just to watch that trailer right when it would drop. Right after, I immediately got a piece of paper and drew Mommy Long Legs just to try and be the first fan to draw her. Project: Playtime was real special to me as well because I remember it was around thanksgiving time for me. I remember watching the cinematic trailer as well and being amazed by Boxy’s reveal which I found mind blowing. Chapter 3 has a real special place in my heart. Not because I find it the best chapter (that’s chapter 5 for me), but because it helped me through a pretty rough time. Chapter 4 felt special because I felt like Doey was a character I could relate to. Someone who cares for everyone else and has just so much empathy to those around them. I feel like he was the only character I really shed a few tears at after he died. Chapter 5 also felt really special. Giblet was also a character I felt I could relate to in so many ways. Seeing purpose in everything. “Everything’s a tragedy until it’s meant to be.” Right when he said that I was like “Yes!! That’s exactly how I feel about things at times!” Aside from the chapters, Mob themselves have really been important to me. They’re like the sole reason why I got interested in game development, writing, and animation. Now I want to pursue those fields in my future career. Perhaps even join Mob? That would be years away from happening I’m sure of it but they’ve shaped who I am. It isn’t even just Mob’s existence as well. The developers there. Interacting with them is just something special because it really feels special knowing you’re actually talking to some of the people who work on what changed your life for the better. Now, I continue to find and share any information I can find with the community through Mascot Massacre which I’m on the team of. I’m here to share and bring more of those good feelings Poppy Playtime as a whole has brought me. I want to repay Mob in any way possible whether it be through building hype, being a potential voice actor in any way, or something else. Don’t think I’d be who I am now without Poppy Playtime or Mob Entertainment. Thank ya @mobgamesstudios Keep making great games. Hope I can repay ya for all you’ve done in my life. ✌️

Alr I’m REALLY confused about all of this plushie stuff. I’ve seen photos and such about doing this and this to get the nightmare catnap skin (with drama such as people saying anyone can do it to get the skin for free which is false advertising bla bla bla) but from what I see it’s a giveaway of sorts where the only reward everyone can get for free is a banner of sorts 😭 medal.tv/features/escape-fro… Feels like it’s just a giveaway or maybe there’s just weird stuff going on cause this is just really confusing and some things say this while others say that

Not exactly all that knowing of what Mob wants to do with this game. Really only thinking it’s for the money as always as if the developers don’t have passion for what they’re working on. :b Kinda just wish people in general would consider more that people aren’t always simply in it for the money. Sometimes yes, sometimes no. What do I think this situation is? I personally believe it’s a “no” one. I personally don’t imagine EFP as a made-for-money game. Even the excuse that “it costs money!” doesn’t really work to me considering that’s the only source of revenue the devs can get through EFP. It’s either free with microtransactions (barely anyone actually pays for stuff like that I feel like) or pay and unlock stuff yourself. People expect too much from Mob I feel like and have this stereotype for them that they’re like any other company that just cares about the money. Nope. I see Mob differently. Deep listeners to feedback especially. Again, Spiff’s points are absolutely valid and make total sense to me with many I agree with. I just wish the comments especially there had more empathy for the developers if you get what I mean. Wouldn’t be happy if I got to lead a game’s development and then people just trash on it and say it was made for profit because it had quite a few issues people weren’t happy with. 🤷‍♂️
