When I was young, back in 1817… 😂 My grandma loved going to the stream every evening to enjoy the beautiful view and the cool breeze. One day, she took me along with a little boy younger than me who could barely speak. When we arrived, I told Grandma I wanted to take a stroll and pluck some mangoes. She agreed, so I left. Suddenly, the little boy came running towards me, shouting, “COMO OOO! COMO OOO!” 😭 I asked him what happened, and he told me Grandma had asked him to come and call me. Confused, I followed him back to Grandma. She burst into laughter and said, “I saw a big fish in the stream and wanted to show you, so I told him to call you and tell you come” I laughed and said, “Grandma, you should have told him to say ‘come’ instead of this your ‘Como’!” 😂😭 That was the day I fell in love with the word COMO. But I never understood why that word meant so much to me… until tonight, when I saw Como vs Manchester United on the screen. 🥹💙 Suddenly, the memories came flooding back. Grandma. The little boy.
