Silence creates stories. Communication creates clarity. As coaches we should be teaching athletes to communicate when things get hard. To ask questions. To speak up. To be honest. To have uncomfortable conversations. Coaches and leaders should model the same thing. You don’t have to have the perfect answer. You definitely don’t have to be everyone’s cup of tea. But people deserve clarity. On both sides. That’s leadership. #thekallyvsoftball #bealeader #monday #clarityandcommunication

The softball world has convinced too many pitchers that the answer is always: “Get another lesson.” But sometimes the missing piece isn’t another weekly lesson that stops serving them the moment they leave. The missing piece is learning how to trust, compete, problem-solve, and become the athlete they’re capable of becoming. That doesn’t happen in a single lesson. It happens through development. Because pitchers don’t need to spend their careers chasing someone to fix them. They need a plan that helps them grow into complete athletes — physically, mentally, and emotionally. #kallyvsoftball #fastpitchsoftball #quickfix #kvsmentorship

Finished her college softball career on one day. Announced she’s having a baby the next. That’s not an offseason—that’s a whole new season. ❤️👶🥎 God is Good! Congratulations @jordybahl #wcws #ncaasoftball

Coaches should know what is working for their pitchers before they take the mound. #dobetter #kallyvsoftball

Tired of low level coaches coaching in high level organizations…stay in your lane or rise to the occasion to become a high level coach.

Let’s talk about “adversity.”There’s a difference between teaching adversity… and being the adversity. Real coaches: They study. They evolve. They learn their athletes. They build them up and challenge them. They communicate why—not just what. Bad coaches? They hide behind “old school.” They tear athletes down and call it “toughness.” They manipulate by saying, “you’re a high-level player—you should expect this”… without ever teaching or explaining. They take credit for athletes they didn’t actually develop. And they hide comfortably inside the “good old boys club.” You don’t get to demand growth from your players while refusing to grow yourself. That’s not coaching. That’s ego. And athletes deserve better. #CoachingMatters #CoachDevelopment #LeadershipMatters #AthleteDevelopment #LevelUp #dobetter

Got a hit… then walked to her position. That’s a problem. You never earn the right to not hustle— not when you’re failing, not when you’re succeeding. Coaches: hold the standard. Every player. Every time. #coachingstandards #hustle #fastpitchsoftball #arizonafastpitch #dobetter

🙌Congratulations to KVS Pitcher-Cailee Culwell @CaileeCulw62574 for her recent commitment to play at the next level @ Yavapai Community College and even MORE so why she turned down other offers and chose to go the JUCO route! @AZinthecircle Class of 2026 Flagstaff HS Arizona #kallyvsoftball #pitchingcoach #collegecommit #fastpitchsoftball #classof2026

🤯College Coaches want pitchers that want to grow and choose to grow even when it’s hard while continuing to get better. What they don’t want is a know it all and someone who thinks they are as good as they are going to be. I don’t know about you… but I could watch this video over and over again 👀🥎 🙏Huge kudos to the amazing softball parent who captured these photos of one of my pitchers this weekend at the Surf City Tournament 🙌 This is McKenzie Latvaaho 🥎 LHP/Hits Left 🥎 Class of 2027 🥎 Uncommitted 🥎 Competing with her 18U team Arizona Storm Mendez ✨ Fun fact about Kenzie: she considers herself to have started pitching late — proof that growth isn’t about when you start, it’s about how committed you are to the process—-to YOUR PROCESS! Keep showing up. Keep developing. One pitch at a time. @MLatvaaho2027 @AZinthecircle #kallyvsoftball #fastpitchsoftball #softballpitcher #pitchingcoach #uncommitted2027 #collegerecruiting
