And that layered bob wig is the funniest because it will 10/10 drop, if you like spray it with the strongest holding spray and spray it for 2 days, it will drop! When it drops it will start to look like what you don’t know and only a professional is likely to be able to get it back in shape for you. It’s super fine on the mannequin after it’s been freshly styled, but how consistent are you, enough to maintain it? Ask yourself.

Clients will tell you to leave the curls in the wig, if I leave it curled up and send it to you in pins, can you comb it out the way it should be combed out? Do you know how to?

And after your stylist rolls up your wig, I hope you know there’s a combing technique too. There’s a particular way you have to comb the wig if you want it to come out in a particular style. You do it wrong and you ruin the entire style. You go too far and you have to start the curling process all over again.

Wig layering is so technical and that’s why I try not to dabble into it too much because when you do it and style it, it will be fine. But package it and send it to the client now, the layer that’s meant to be up will be down, the one meant to be facing the left will turn to the right in transit and when the wig gets to its final destination, especially if the client doesn’t even know combing techniques?e don be for you.
